The Sehiro CERAX 707 (700 grit). The photos supplied with this review are after 4 sharpening and include every item in box.This stones has superb feedback and tactile feel (feels like silk and SOOOO smooth). Low buildup as far as clogging material, but just the right amount of slurry production (I would say 6/10).Very easy to clean and maintain, but hard enough that you won't remove millimeters at a time.I'm staying with this whenever I need a 700 stone

So I was a little hesitant to buy this stone since I have the Cerax 320 & 1k and didn’t think I needed it but when I used it I was surprised, it has the same Suehiro feel as the others but quite a bit harder and it doesn’t create as much slurry as the others (but still creates slurry). It doesn’t load up as much with softer carbon steels.. actually hardly any but I’ve heard it loads up mor with harder steels. Don’t be fooled by what you hear in the internet this stones cuts pretty fast. Same soaking time as the rest of the Cerax line. Overall pretty nice stone.

It’s a soaker, which means excellent feedback while sharpening. I use this 700 grit stone in place of the 1000 grit. It cuts faster and leaves an edge fine enough that I can finish on a 5K stone. This 700 stone is part of my two stone sharpening routine and I get great results!
