Prentice Hall Biology (Student Edition)

Prentice Hall's "Biology" Textbook possessed surprisingly well-presented information that is easily readable, versatile, and information-dense, perfectly formatted for intellectually curious students. It especially covered the entirely of biological concepts, in an orderly & organized fashion suited to be a study textbook or utilized as a reference book. Additionally, it includes biology labs/activities, scientific experiments, educational diagrams/photos, sections promoting problem solving/critical thinking skills, biology history & careers, challenging questions, and ultimately assessment study guides/test prep.

We are excited to use this in our home school next year for biology. Hope we get lots of learning out of it.

I bought it for my daughter to look at home since this is the exactly the same book at school. It's well written and serves the purpose. I found most the cheap items are actually not bad at least in usable condition.

This book is used by Homeschool Connections’ archived High School Biology Class. It is a good freshman level text with a good amount of material to meet the needs of a “survey” course. My son finds this book easy to read and digest. Recommend.
