Not armour plating, but good enough for the infrequent traveller,
Remember, when buying this item, what the purpose is. You are buying something to absorb mishandling, the throwing around of luggage, the scraping, sliding and mistreatment of your property. So, it's going to get damaged, torn and suffer friction burns. Hopefully, if will protect your luggage from a similar fate.Mostly, it works. But it's not rubust. The fact it's made from lightweight artificial material means it suffered damage eve on it's first journey - it's first mission. After a return long haul trip, it had done it's job of protecting a case. But had done so to it's own cost. Threadbare in places, small holes suffered as the case went from conveyor to conveyor to aircraft to truck and being spat out again at the other end.It could be stronger, made from a material that better holds up to abuse, hence losing a few stars. If you buy it, expect it to 'suffer' each journey you check in your luggage. If not planning air journeys you'll be fine and the star rating should be higher. But for regular air travel, or where your luggage is at the mercy of others, prepare your sewing kit for regular use.If you are a perfectionist, be prepared to cry and buy again.Overall, it's good for irregular travellers. So go ahead and buy.But if you are racking up high numbers of regular air miles you might want to splurge out a little (or a lot) more for that extra strength and performance.Pleasure sometimes demands more effort and top class performance. The best protection should stand up to rough handling, and perform time and time again without becoming flaccid and tattered at too young an age......

Bad design and sizing off.
Bought this as twice someone has mistakingly picked up my luggage on the airport carousel despite there being a clip-band on the luggage with my surname on! If I’m honest I don’t think I’ll use it; the sizing seems off (I bought large for a large case and it’s way too small) and the design means that if you lift the handle up to pull the case, it stretches the fabric (as can be seen in the photo) and causes it to tear. Probably fine if you don’t have wheeled luggage, or the lever to manoeuvre it is in the centre (where the recess on the cover is stitched) though all cases I’ve owned, the lever is on the back. Not particularly happy, though I didn’t have high expectations to begin with. Good idea but flawed design.

Quality suitcase covers for very low cost
I ordered all the sizes (S, M, & L) from this supplier and it all fit really well as you can see in my photo. Really good quality and love the material its made from too. Customer service was amazing too and was easy to communicate and do queries. Very good value for money. Thank you!

Average
I guess you get at times what you pay for.this was after 1 x luggage handling and did fit my large Ferge suitcase on casters. The bottom fastener is pretty much weakend and may need updating in the manufacturer's side? I must say i did find my case , it was protected from external damage like scratches , that's for my type case hard shell ferge.sadly the case le5vme down big time.without this sleeve i probably be still picking up my clothes...

Luggage cover
Is as described, protects your luggage for a few flights, airline conveyers / ground staff will put holes in them.

Steer clear
Whilst the item turned up quickly, the quality was poor. Sizing did not match what was ordered. Alas, i continued and the item was torn to shreds when travelling out of the country. Can agree that maybe it had a bit of rough treatment however the mrs has a different case protector and this survived the same abuse.Amazon have refunded.Personally would not recommend.
