CF Clean Fairy Vacuum Cleaner Filter Replacement for Dirt Devil CV2000 series 7-Inch Central Vac Filter 8106-01 For Vacuflo Tcs-5525 Royal CS400 CS620

Buying this as a second filter allows me to install a fresh new filter whenever I empty the dust collector for my whole house central vac system. At that time I wash the dirty unit so it is squeaky clean and just set it aside let it completely dry. I want it to be clean and available to repeat the above the next time the dust bin is emptied. BTW washing (versus brushing) out the dust eliminates the dust from flying all over the place. I do this outside at the garden hose bib, then use an old paint brush to loosen and rinse away the remainder. The bottom line? For me, it is to make sure the vacuum motor does not labor with a dirty filter nor suck in excessive dust. It is a lot less costly to rotate a clean filter than to replace the vac motor.

I previously tried this cheaper brand and was happy with it. So I bought two more. When I went to install a clean filter yesterday I learned that it did not fit. I tried the second one and it also did not fit. I cannot get either to go high enough into the housing to allow the turnbuckle to lock in place. It appears to be an issue with the top gasket not seating properly (too small?). I had to reinstall the dirty filter. You can see in the picture they are all the same (well, almost). It has been too long since I purchased so I cannot ask for an Amazon refund.

I also had a teeny bit of trouble getting this to fit in flush and clicking it in place. (I didn't want to break the Dirt Devil latch by twisting too hard.) But once I figured it out, this filter fit fine. My old filter was WELL overdue for a change!So far, I am pleased with what I see. If I find later I am not happy with it, I will edit this review.

I'm always a little leery of buying less expensive items that are replacements for the manufacturer's product, but this fits perfectly and except for the color of the label, appears to be the exact same item as the manufacturer's. Easy to install

This filter is perfect and worked fine for me. I was able to simply clean the filter a few times and then replace after a year.

These are for a in-wall vac system. They work perfectly! Love Them!

It's a perfect replacement fit for our vacuflo. Still maintains great suction.

Exact replacement for original, easy install, does the trick

center rubber where locking nut goes through is stiffer than it should be. Needed quite a bit of pressure to get the nut turned into position.
