Chewie
Our dog, Charlie, 11 years old, is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and is beginning to have separation anxiety. This chewie has worked wonders. We fill it with his food kibble and a few low calorie treats and he is good for hours.

As described
My dog made her gums bleed chewing on this product, but that certainly isn't the product's fault.

Not a good purchase if you dogs a heavy chewer
A friend suggested this to me, as her dogs love it. My dog destroyed the 3 soft pods in less than a day. Not worth buying if your dogs tends to destroy his plastic toys. We kept the white plastic bone as she likes to chew on it.

My dog loves this!
We had the rope version before but my dog destroyed that on fairly quickly. This one has survived over a month which is a new record.

She enjoyed playing with it
Purchased this for my dog and it arrived today. The dog managed to destroy it within a half hour. She enjoyed playing with it, but very disappointed that it didn’t last longer. Didn’t hold up for my tough chewer.

Great toy
We own both a small and a large one of these. The small one is we have had for about 5 months and the large one for 2 months. My 7 month old Standard Poodle puppy loves both of them. Despite the fact the small one looks over-chewed and absolutely disgusting, he pulls it out to chew on it almost every day. The blue section did tear on the small one since that seems to be the easiest spot to get treats out, so we eventually had to rip it off. But he still loves it!It's definitely a challenge to get cookies out of it the green and orange sections, but that's what I need for a smart pup! I doubt it would stand up to heavy chewers (lol, what does though?), but for mild to moderate chewers this is great.JW makes some great toys that my guy really loves. This is no exception!

It IS worth the hassle. But you must not leave your dog alone with it.
You must watch over your dog as mine did chew off the rubber pods. Technically it did not lat my dog three days before he chewed one of the pods off. However it keeps my dog active for a long time! I just wish the white bone and rubber pods were safe for him to digest. He chews on the ends of it in frustration to get the treats out. I really wanted to leave this outside for him so he had something to do while I am at work, but afraid to do that. It also is VERY hard to put the treats in. It IS worth the hassle though. It is hilarious watching him stick his tough in the pockets trying to lick the treats out. Eventually his intelligence got him to bite down on them to break up the pieces so it was easier for him to lick!I suggest using these treats to fill it if you want your dog active for awhile: Milkbone MaroSnacks.

First one in years that DOES. NOT. WORK.
I have purchased these things for YEARS. The one that just arrived, however, is unusable. The space between the cups is so small that:• I nearly broke a finger trying to get the treat into the cups• my dog can't get the treats out of the cups• Also, there was no order form or return label so I had to call Amazon and take the thing to UPS in order to return it. A real waste of time. How about a little quality assurance?

Laughable in the jaws of Hank the Tank
Hank the one year old tank husky thoroughly enjoyed this toy so much so that he chewed it apart in less than 24 hours. Granted dog toys are meant to be chewed, I was hoping the life span of this toy would have been longer. The most concerning part of this is the plastic chunk he bit off. Definitely something that could be swallowed by accident. I would not recommend this toy for heavy chewers and as an additional word of caution, always supervise your dog while they’re playing with this toy. Some of the wording on the packing about being durable, dog tested, and made for extended play is false advertising.

Long lasting
My dog is a toy murderer. She is 50 pounds and can ruin most toys in under a minute. She's had this one for 3 days so far and only the hard plastic ends are showing wear. All three colored pieces are still intact and this is kind of a miracle with her.Update- Almost 3 weeks in and the rubbery pieces have been destroyed but the bone is still being used. This is not normal for my chewer. She normally kills a toy completely in no time at all.

Treats get stuck and all you're left with is crumbs.
The dogs seem to enjoy it well enough. They seem to lose interest quickly because I've found that the treats don't come out very easily. What I've found is that the treats just get stuck and become crumbs in between the plastic. The toy is definitely durable, and can keep my dog's interest well enough, but I would recommend very small treats that aren't very dry.It has been around a year and they're still in decent shape, but I've stopped putting any dog treats in because I'm tired of going back and wiping up all the crumbs that my dogs leave behind.
