So clever!!!As both a working musician, a teacher of infants, and a person that travels regularly for both of those reasons, my iPad has become a necessity in all aspects of life, whether it’s to display a score to read from when I sing in rehearsal, to show musical examples, pictures and videos to my students, or to catch up on admin/ watch tv in a B and B or on a train to chill out and wind down when I’m not home. Having something like this G-Hold to grip with ease and then to fold away when I need to store my device has made my already useful technology even easier for me to use. It makes it safer for little hands to grab at it and pass it around in a class context too. What a little piece of genius. Simple, smart and smooth design makes it timeless, and instructions are v easy to follow.

This gadget is a really good idea, but falls down a bit when you get it fixed onto your device. Where you need to balance for vertical and horizontal viewing is different and as moving the sticky pad is a bit of a hassle every time, I tend to use it in the one place. This means my wrist gets a bit tired in landscape mode, but maybe that is just me. The other negative is that some of the edges of the "holding bit" are a bit hard and squared off. Rounded edges would be more comfy. Hence the four stars, but overall it is a great idea and I am glad I bought it.

The G-Hold does make holding my Amazon Fire a lot easier. It is actually very comfortable. However, detaching the device is another matter. The G-Hold attaches to a Velcro pad which you stick to your device, it gets a pretty good grip. So good in fact that the Velcro starts to peel off from my Fire before it lets go of the G-Hold. For this reason, I've reduced my rating to 3 stars only.

This is ideal for enabling ease of holding my tablet when reading. My only criticism is that having attached one of the 'stickers', I wished to use this with a 2nd device. The problem was the velcro had fastened the parts together stronger than the 'glue' to the back of the first tablet, when I tried to release the holder the glued other part came off as well. Thi was despite having allowed sufficient time for the glue to set and also leavimg a weight on top during this.

I bought this product for my partner, to help him comfortably hold his tablet whilst reading in bed. There's only so many times you can watch someone drop a tablet on their face.The G-Hold arrived in a cute little tin that will definitely get reused for keeping things in! Handily, the product came with 2 Velcro pads – so we can use it on more than one device. The instructions enclosed were easy to follow but I love that there was a help line telephone number and link to an instructional video included in case I had any questions. Having read other reviews, I don't see an issue with the velcro pad - the backing peels off just like a sticker.Using the G-Hold has been brilliant – it’s very reassuring that this product has been ergonomically tested and the improvement to quality of life cannot be understated. The product sits comfortably in the hand and has removed any cramping or uncomfortable sweaty moments from what should be relaxing reading time.As someone based in the UK – I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the product is manufactured and hand finished in Scotland.

I was hoping this would help my arthritic hands, fingers and wrists. Oh dear. I realise now that turning the palm upwards causes me pain. I have reversed it so the back of the hand faces in but the tablet tips forward. Holding fingers flat causes me pain as well. Normally the wrist and fingers are at the side of a tablet not flat at the back. I didn't think this through but long term how it can reduce strain, I just do not see. Probably cause it!

This product is brilliant. I could not use a tablet without one now, as I have problem with my grip, however I would still use one if I didn't! I don't usually hold it how they show you to but you can hold it any way you want. It makes using a tablet so much easier. It does sound quite pricey but honestly I find it's worth every penny. I own two myself and have given one as a present.

My tablet is about 10 years old so has a bit of weight to it, however this gadget is great. Easy to attach, lies flat when not in use then when raised it fits snuggly round your hand. Tablet can swivel to any position. As I mentioned, tablet is old and a bit heavy, so my wrist can get tired and fingers dented by plastic, but this was always an issue. I love it.

Parfait ! C'est un produit extra pour bien tenir sa tablette de façon très confortable. C'est également une sécurité pour ne pas la faire tomber, je suis ravie même si c'est un peu cher. Je recommande vivement.

Sehr praktisch beim ZeichnenIch mag diesen Halter sehr. Er bietet eine schöne, komfortable Möglichkeit, mein iPad beim Skizzieren zu halten. Ich fühle mich sicherer, wenn ich das iPad mit dem Halter festhalte als ohne, und meine nicht zeichnende Hand/Handgelenk bekommt eine Pause vom Greifen der Kante meines iPads. Ich mag es auch, dass ich die volle Kontrolle darüber habe, wie viel es schwenkt, was ein sehr praktisches Feature beim Skizzieren ist.

Kein Zweifel, das Fire-Tablet ist ein fantastisches Gerät, aber manchmal ist die Benutzung während man es hält nicht sehr stabil und auf Dauer anstrengend.Deshalb war ich auf der Suche nach einer Lösung das Tablet auch über längere Zeit bequem in der Hand zu halten. Besonders im Urlaub hat man das Teil ja deutlich länger in der Hand zum lesen, spielen etc.Mit dem G-Hold lässt sich das Tablet sicher in einer Hand halten und die andere Hand bleibt frei, sehr komfortabel. Die Halterung ist erstaunlich stabil und kann um 360 Grad gedreht werden, für eine perfekte und individuelle Position ob nun im Liegestuhl, auf der Couch oder im Bett.Die Halterung klappt sich bei Nichtbenutzung flach zusammen, somit kann man das Tablet wieder einfach in der Tasche verstauen oder man nimmt sie ganz ab dank des Klettverschlusses. Es sind drei Klebepads dabei, funktioniert natürlich auch auf jedem beliebigen Tablet oder Hülle egal von welchem Hersteller.Man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell an die Halterung und ich persönlich möchte mein Tablet nicht mehr ohne G-Hold halten wollen.
