some sort of really special quality that makes me love these pencils
For a $20 pencil set, this one is pretty nice.Pros: the pigments are really vibrant and the leads are soft-but-not-too-soft. The eraser is nice, and although the pigments don't necessarily erase, I'm not sure I'd want them to. But I use the eraser for my sudoku puzzles all the time. The set is inexpensive and in general I really enjoy coloring with them.Cons: The picture in the description makes it look like you can use the box like a case... yeah no way. It's flimsy plastic and actually, when mine arrived, all the pencils had been jostled out and were sitting in the bottom of the box AND the sharpener was nowhere to be found! The pencils are not labeled, so I have to mark them with hash marks or numbers if I want to put a project aside for later. Some of the pencils have given me a really hard time when sharpening. I try to be careful but the leads do break. Although there are a lot of colors, some of them are really similar, and it seems like the set has a LOT of green and brown but like one orange...? Finally, some of the colors are really dissimilar to how they're painted on the other end.The truth is, that while I think these pencils are a little bit of a pain in the behind, I love them. I accidentally left them at home when I moved for my summer internship, so I picked up a pack of whatever BJ's had... it's not the same. I miss these ones.

I love the colors of this set but I absolutely abhor the quality. The case had to be thrown away as it just falls open and pencils go everywhere. The biggest problem is that you will sharpen the pencil and go to use it, not color specific as it is at least half, and the colored lead/crayon whatever it is falls out of the wood! its almost like the wood is too big or not fitted around the actual color part. It is very annoying as it happens over and over so I just gave up using them. Guess I am going to have to spend the extra and get Prismacolor.

Lead is broken in the pencils.
They worked great the first time I used them but then when you have to sharpen it the lead just keeps breaking I've lost 6 pencils now because of it. It's very irritating! I will not buy these ever again I wasn't expecting perfection or even excellence however I was expecting a product that my kids and I could use without so much frustration! The company sent me a second set of pencils without me asking which I thought was nice but when I got them today the package that they came in was broken and then taped together and almost all the pencils were broken. I think it had to do with the way they packaged it. So please do not send me another set it's a waste of money and time. on both our ends.

Terrible Manufacturer's Packaging! Pencils Ok, especially for the price.
Retrieved my box and found it rattling with the sound of loose pencils. Openned the box and there wasn't a single pencil in its proper location... I believe this is due to manufacturers packaging, the pencil's case if you will. (Possibly in part due to shipping, but mainly due to packaging of the pencils)I was really excited because it was a cool looking case. I have a similar style from other manufacturers, sadly this one is very cheaply made and opens up entirely rather than just the top flap flipping open like others of this design. It is also made of a cheap plastic and does not have very secure closures. That combination is what caused my pencils to end up all over the box. After looking through them I found that I did not receive the eraser and a few pencil nibs were broken in the process. (Assuming these were shipping errors which I will be giving feedback on also)I am overall just very disappointed in the quality of the case though. It was a big selling point for me which ended up being very poorly made.I really like the feel of the wood around the pencils and they are ok to color with, though I have not done much at all. The included sharpener isn't something I will be very likely to use as it is an open sharpener, but it would be ok for someone who is using this as a cheap starter set, though for cleanliness' sake, I would recommend getting a sharpener that will not get wood flakes everywhere.Photo shows the case broken open from shipping demonstrating how flimsy it is.

to weak to sharpen or use.
These are impossible to sharpen. The inside is so weak they constantly break inside the sharpener or lightly pressing the page.

The color quality was great but very frustrating to try and sharpen and keep ...
These pencils didn't sharpen well and broke off often, almost as if the "lead" I guess you would call it, was way too soft to hold up inside of the pencils. The color quality was great but very frustrating to try and sharpen and keep this together every 2 minutes.

for adult coloring
Love these pencils. I will never buy colored pencils from a local store again. these are the best. they cover well and leave a rich color behind.I have not had to throw away any pencils because the lead was broken up in side. which I have had to do with other brands . these are way to good to let the kids near them.

Almost perfect.
Was a little disappointed in the packaging that had a couple of the pencils falling out and the tips were broken off.Luckily the sharpener came with it. The sharpener needs to be bigger, thus easier to use. Regular pencil sharpeners do not work on colored pencils! The granddaughters love the wide range of colors, and are using them often. Their favorite books have small details, so they are learning to slow down with their creative coloring. Not always easy at 6 and 4 years old.The case doesn't work well for storage.I enjoy creating with them, and find these colored pencils to be just the right hardness.

Best pencil colours
Ordered it through warehouse deal, the colours were new and minor damage to the edge of the box but you can still open it and fold it as normal. They are very pigmented, blendable pencil colours and lots of shades to work with. The box is so practical, for storage and display. They don’t break easily and I had no problem sharpening them. Didn’t try the eraser or the sharpener but having them in the box is a bonus. The only thing is, no colour name or number is written on the pencil so you might want to label them.I’m not a professional artist, I just colour to relax.I don’t think you can get anything better for the price. Highly recommended.

Oui.

Gute Farbe, ansonsten Schrott
