I have a weakened vocal cord. A speech therapist recommended straw therapy. These are very good for strengthening my voice. I can feel the effect immediately after. It isn’t easy! But it is very effective. If you need to strengthen your voice, this is the ticket. The speech therapist assigned scales (a fifth only); sirens, then a song of my choosing. All must be legato, and you mustn’t puff out your cheeks, but breathe from diaphragm. Do for short sessions many times a day/as warmup. Very effective.
