basically cardboard, and very small, not too mention unstable after really securing all pieces as best as i could. It is definitely kitten sized , my adult cat can't even lay down fully on the perches, which was the whole point of purchasing this tree. I will not be keeping it, and will invest in better quality/sturdiness for my cat. The soft material was taking apart in clumps when I unboxed it as well, would hate for my cat to choke on that

This tree house is the perfect size for a single kitten or small cat. Our cat is 6lbs, she fits inside the cubby with room to move around and get comfortable, the little bed on top is just her size. It is a little short, just under windowsill height. If your cat likes to bird watch they will have to sit, not lay down to see out the window. I find the product quite sturdy for our small cat, we also have a 16lb cat but he hasn’t show any intrest in this treehouse.

My girlfriend and I got this for our cat when he was just a little kitten and he loved it it was the best thing but now he’s a little bit bigger and it’s not as sturdy as it used to be. Good for kittens and lasts a year until gets wobbly

You get what you pay for. This cat tree looks great, was the perfect size & was easy to assemble. However the vertical posts are very cheaply made. The shorter one broke within a week (when my kitten only weighed 3-4 lbs). The taller one survived another month or so before breaking as well (kitten now weighs about 7 lbs).I learned my lesson & will spend extra for a solidly-built tree that will last next time.

Too small for an adult cat, looks nice though and easy to assemble

Got this product for two new kittens. Excited at first but it became apparent very quickly that this product was unstable. If they jump right onto it it is fine. It just wobbles a little. But, if they are running and jump for it, the momentum just tips it over. One of the perches broke off easily. Didn't realize it was made of cardboard with twine-like material wrapped around it. Personally, my husband or myself could have built a better, more sturdy cat perch/condo... which we did. If you have 1 kitten that is not very active, this may work for you.

The instructions consist of a drawing and no words. After looking up various other pictures online I was able to figure it out. Once it was put together my kittens loved it.

So far, so good! Has been used for a week since we got it. Setup was super easy, construction and materials are very good for the price. My two cats immediately playing after we set it up and they love scratching the posts! My two cats are pretty big (both are over 12lbs), I can say this cat tree is pretty sturdy, but I recommeded this one for kitten or smaller cats to play.Overall its definately a great cat tree for cats to play and rest!
