How to pick up elusive, pesky, leaves in flower beds
My flower beds have light mulch in them, and leaves pile on top. Blowing the leaves didn't work, and raking gathered too much of the mulch. After discussing it with Greenworks, I ordered this leaf vac. It does the job as desired. It also grinds the leaves into very small bits, great for mulching. The unit is bulky, and heavy, but suitable for the task at hand. This model uses dual 24v batteries, but you can also get one with a single 40v. I had no problem with run time. The batteries had plenty of charge left after finishing the work. Also I was using it on thick piles of leaves. Although it has wheels, I found when using it on the mulched areas, it was best to hold the opening flat over the leaves. I own lots of Greenworks tools, and their quality, and support, have always been excellent.

Reviewing as leaf vacuum
I already have a cordless Dewalt blower but I wanted a cordless leaf vacuum to use on drain rocked driveway. Local store only had electric leaf vacs and I didn’t want to drag long cord around yard so I bought this one from Amazon. Charged it up and it barely picked up a few leafs before batteries died. Charged up again and tried it the next day. It would have been faster to pick up leafs by hand. Battery died after about 10 minutes. Maybe it works better as a blower but doesn’t work as vac. Returned to Amazon and bought electric Craftsman for half the price. Have to drag around cord but it sucks up leafs with no problem and no worries about dead battery. Was happy Amazon gave me full refund because blower wasn’t returned in new condition because bag was dirty from the few leafs it managed to suck up and grind.

Greenworks 48V (24V x 2) Cordless Brushless Leaf Blower/Vacuum
I have a old (over 25 years old) Black and Decker corded Leaf Blower/Vacuum and decided to replace it with this one from Greenworks. This uses two 24 volts Greenworks batteries to get the 48 volts, I went with this because I have other 24v devices and also 80v lawn mower and weed wacker. I would have preferred 80v if they made one in that configuration. I bought this more for the vacuum as I already have a 80v blower. The 24v batteries are lacking and could use a longer run time as I have to stop and recharge the batteries before I am done. I wish that this had a shoulder strap for ease of use and a feature for bulk use with a garbage can ast the hopper bag fills up quick.

Greenworks Works !!!
I was a little skeptical about this unit and how easy it would be to use. But it was easy to put together, and then the fun began. I charged the batteries and gave it a test drive and it was awesome. It was easy to use, fairly kight to the touch and easy to maneuver. The wheels on the end of the pickup tube were awesome at holding the device far enough away from mulch that you only picked up the leaves and left the mulch. I would highly recommend this unit. Really a great value and time saver.

Powerful but very poor design, Can not recommend.
Pros: Very powerful, picks up everything and mulches well. Cons: Way too heavy. The design makes it very heavy to hold, and wheeling it picks up less debris at a time. Battery life is ABYSMAL. 15 minutes max at a time. Plus You have to wait for the batteries to cool down before you can recharge them. Based on these 2 CONS I could never recommend this product, and being past 30 days (by a few days) makes my purchase even more frustrating.

Short battery life. Picks up leaves well
Battery’s work long enough for about a bag & half of leaves. Also, the batteries overheat & have to cool before putting on charger. If it lasted longer, I’d really like the product for mulching

Does Exactly what I Needed it to do!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Need to keep all the hard surfaces and decorative rocks that surround my pool, clear of leaves and debris from the neighbors trees. This thing is powerful enough to pick up leaves and twigs, without picking up the decorative rocks. It’s does a better job than my plug in blower/vacuum and I don’t have to drag a cord around anymore! Is anyone interested in buying a plug in blower/vacuum? I have one for sale cheap!

borderline junk - good for someone with a 50 X 50 foot backyard
Pretty much worthless - even though i purchased their best $250 dollar model. the leaf sucker only works ok under shrubs/trees... YOU WILL NOT CLEAR A LAWN - period...end stop you get about 30 minutes of run time from a full charge. the blower mode does ok, for small jobs but again has no battery reserve .... I could of bought a ton of gas for a regular machine that works - so much for trying to be ECO friendly... and also its heavy with two required battery packs... save your money and look elsewhere ......sad i cant give zero stars or return it.... the only positive thing i can say is switching from vac to blow mode is easy peasy and takes 30 seconds
