Review: Great Cold Brew Coffee With Little Effort - This is my first foray into cold brewing coffee. This unit does a great job and it's easy to use. Simply grind your beans to a rough grind (be careful not to go too fine or they will bleed through the metal filter), fill the filter container up as directed, add your water, and wait 24 hours for great cold brewed coffee. You'll want to be sure to clean your filter immediately after you remove it from the carafe or it will be a challenge to remove the coffee. Also be careful not to puncture the metal filter if you use a butter knife or metal utensil to get the coffee grounds loose in the filter. I could see easily poking through the filter if you use something sharp or push too hard. Overall, this is a great unit, easy to use, and not too bad to clean. The coffee lasts up to two weeks (although does anyone really leave it that long before they drink it?) in the fridge. Lastly, cold brewed coffee is less acidic than hot brewed, and it seems to be a little smoother. Review: Can’t live with out it! - I love my cold brew bottle! As someone who was spending way too much money at Starbucks, this is amazing! Results, in terms of grainy-ness of coffee is similar to a French press, so just run it through a coffee filter if that bothers you. Letting it brew overnight (8-12 hours) gets to be about the same strength as a regular cup of coffee. Letting it brew 18-24 hours gets to be about as strong as what we all know and love cold brew coffee to be. Ps I only gave a 3 for durability because it’s a glass bottle, which is prefect and wonderful, but it’s glass, can’t do anything about that. When I first bought it, it arrived broken, and they had no issue replacing it for me. I let it roll around my back seat and it’s fine, but it scares my husband because he knows how sad I’ll be if it breaks. My life is better because of it and I’ll buy it again when the time inevitably comes because I don’t know how to take care of my stuff.

Good but could be better
It's good, but has a few flaws. The pros are, it's easy to use and the flavor is pretty decent if you let it soak for a solid 12-18 hours. The negatives are that the rubber/plastic seal doesnt work perfectly and will leak. The deal also has a nasty habit of coming undone which has led to me almost losing it a few times. The other negative is the mouthfeel of cold brew coffee towards the bottom of the bottle which leaves a gritty feeling in your mouth no matter how course my beans are ground (I've even tried sifting the grinds beforehand). All in all it's worth the price as long as you stop drinking before the last 10% It might be worth adding a raised lip on the bottle to catch any sludge at the bottom.

Cold brew tastes better and is 95% less acidic
I use this every day and bought one for my mom. It’s best with course ground, but I just let the fine ground settle to the bottom and dump in my compost. This brews easy batches in one hour. I LOVE the clean look of the glass and stainless over other products with plastic lids. And I LOVE the coozy that comes with it for easy travel without worries of breaking it. I also found if you beat it up after brewing by it still tastes bolder and smoother than regular hot brews. BUY IT!!

[Two Months Of Use] Not bad, but not good either
I use the Oranlife Cold Brew Coffee Maker for Cold Brewed Iced Tea. It works great with Earl Grey, and I use it essentially every night to brew tea for the next morning. I've used it for almost two months now, so if you're looking for a review from someone who didn't just receive theirs, here you go. The first thing that I noticed was that its a really simple design, and functionally if you're using teabags like I am, you can accomplish the same effect without the stainless steel mesh strainer. This being said, any carafe with a sealing spillproof lid will work, and functionally the Oranlife doesn't offer anything spectacular or out of the ordinary. This of course changes if you're brewing with loose tea leaves or coffee grounds, but for the purposes of making Iced Tea with a teabag, it's pretty sufficient. Now onto the downsides. The build quality felt pretty good at first, but after about a week, the lid's metallic cover began to get loose, making opening the Oranlife significantly more difficult than it should've been. Additionally, the inner seal on the lid popped off, and does so often, akin to a mason jar lid. It doesn't make it unusable, but it does make the Oranlife significantly more annoying to use after the one or two week honeymoon period, as the lid gets rather difficult to open due to the metallic bit being loose and the inner seal falling out when attempting to put the lid back on or when opening the lid. In the end, you can (with some effort) remove the metallic bit when it gets loose, leaving just the plastic lid itself. This makes the lid a LOT easier to open, especially if you have smaller hands and have trouble grasping the larger bulbous lid. The entire lid is composed of four parts, and none of them are attached with any sort of adhesive, which I am unsure if its due to a regulation or just a matter of cheaper design, but it results in a lid that becomes finicky and falls apart with enough use. It's not a bad product ultimately, it does get the job done, but its biggest flaws are in its build quality, particularly the lid. The carafe itself, as well as the sleeve, has no complaints other than that the mouth of the carafe is rather difficult to clean without a brush since it is recommended not to machine wash it.

Cold brew approved!
Just got this yesterday, I put in a quarter cup of bustello, filled it up with water, and sat it on the counter a few hours and stuck it in the fridge overnight. When I woke up I strained out the coffee filter poured my creamer in the bottle, stuck it in it's sleeve and passed my precious Starbucks on the way to work with a bittersweet feeling that my drink was delicious and not 4 plus dollars. (They will still get my money somehow, though) Side note you will get loose grounds if you use fine coffee like I stubbornly did, but I strained it through cheese cloth and all was well or you can order some disposable tea bags like I did for added laziness on my part.

I've used this for the first time this week and thought it was fab... followed the instructions, used the right grain coffee (cold brew), and it was delicious!!! You do get a few little specs of coffee floating through the filter, but i get that when I go to any coffee chain, its expected!! It was easy to clean.. I have read reviews that the lid comes apart and the seal removes.. its meant too, its to clean it!! I couldn't recommend this enough.. Very good value for the price, no more buying expensive cold brew coffee for me!! ..

I don’t drink coffee as it upsets my stomach but I thought I would try cold brew as it cuts the acidity, this unit works perfect and as I am writing this I’m drinking a nice cold brew.

The outer lid became detached from the the inner lid screw portion whilst in the fridge. Was almost impossible to open. Very disappointed
