Fit in backpack. Collapsable. Very important for travel.

Sturdy!
I love these. Light weight, adjustable height, foldable so you can throw them in a bag and travel with them. They've proved quite sturdy so far, and I have mobility issues so I lean on these pretty hard as my leg starts to seize up when I walk far. The cover for the end wears pretty fast because we walk on concrete or asphalt, but that's not an issue. Love 'em.

They work
They work and seem sturdier than other poles in this price range. I like the cork handles as well. One of the poles has a slight rattle to it, it seems to potentially be from the cable inside. It hasn’t affected performance.

Fit, Stretch, Click, and Adjust
Took me a while to realize that there are THREE steps to getting these functional. First, and most obvious, unfold the pole and fit the three parts together. Second, and marked but hard to do the first time so not terribly obvious, is pull the rings apart until they click, so that the steel cord inside the pole is stretched, and thus under tension to keep the pole stable. Third, and pretty clear, is to open the clasp to extend to different heights. Now that I've done it, it's easy to do and undo, and I like how stable they are walking, and how small they pack.

Great sticks, strong and light
They do bend if you happen to lose your balance and fall on them. Unfortunately, that means you'll have to buy two replacement poles, as they're not sold single.

Inexpensive but work very well.
They fold up very compact for taking on trips. They go together quite easily and are stable.

Disappointed in my second pair
I bought my first pair of these years ago and finally lost them to TSA. So, I ordered another pair to replace them. The style has changed some. I am 5'3" and these are too long for me. To use them properly, my hand will be below the cork handle. It will be impossible to shorten them for ascending a slope. They look lovely and they pack small and are light, but it's too bad they will not be very functional for me.
