I love working with resin, I have so many silicone molds that sometimes it's hard to decide what I'm going to make on any given day. One of the most popular things I make is the mini birds and this selection makes for some very interesting items. There's something for everyone, iridescent, glittery, bright and oh, so very beautiful. They're easy to blend with the resin, either a little of a lot. Sometimes I use a paintbrush to coat the inside of the molds for an interesting, more controlled look. The price is so reasonable that even I can afford it. If you craft with resin, this mica powder is phenomenal!

This is the first epoxy coloring set I ever bought when I first got into it a couple years ago. I have gone through *at least* twenty gallons of epoxy since then, and still have every color. Of course it isn’t the only coloring I have - i have plenty of alcohol dyes, some other basic micas, and lots of specialty chameleon, phosphorescent, thermochromatic, and chrome micas now too, but this remains a staple box of coloring I use frequently by itself as well as in tandem with other colorants. I initially bought it because it was such a good number of color options for the price, but since have discovered it remains one of the most affordable micas by volume, and more importantly, it is inarguably better than every other basic mica I’ve encountered from multiple different brands. Everyone shops their product pics to look larger than they are, but check the specs and you’ll see most have bottle half this size for the same price or more - many have taller but narrow 5 gram tubes, but these are 10 gram bottles and even the ones i use frequently still have a good amount left in them. And this has a comparably brighter luster than all the other major brands that I’ve gotten samples from in epoxy kits - i made the mistake once of topping one of these bottles off with a sample bag from a different brand and the difference was night and day. A little goes a long way and shines and sparkles. The only hangup at all I have with the set I got was that the pinks options were few and all on the lighter side… but I’ve made some really good hot pink/magenta blends from what’s available. Plus, it appears to me the set seems to have been updated so maybe has some more vibrant pinks. But I won’t know for a while because it’ll probably be another couple years before I have to buy another box even just to replace my favorite colors.

The bottle sizes are decent. I didn’t experience any leaking. The colors are rich and vibrant and not dull. It’s super light and airy so you must handle with care. Comes with two small scoop spoons and an eye shadow brush. My daughter used some to make slime and the colors have come out very nice has a little shimmer in it which we love! But this is pretty good mica powder for any project you can use it with. You won’t be disappointed!

My first day using Mica Powders and I don't know how I painted without them. I used Modge Podge as my carrier today. Loved what it did over paint. I also took a natural tan rock, a painted black base rock and one based painted white. The 2nd picture shows how Silver Gray mixed with Modge Podge and extra water performed on all 3 rocks. Go ahead...try it. My mind is spinning with all I will be able to do with these powders.
