Very good product in cheap price
A very useful product for anyone who wants to convert old vhs tapes into DVD. It can also be used for watching and recording Tv on laptop or desktop. You have to just connect the composite out of set top box to composite in of the easycap through AV cable. Installation is also very easy. For VHS to DVD conversion it’s a must product while for HD recording lot of high quality capture cards are available but they are very expensive so in my opinion this product is good for those who just want to convert Vhs to DVD or just want to watch tv in laptop and don’t care about the HD quality this product will be value for money

Product not support high resolution Video
If you are looking for High Resolution video recording from your HD TV outputs etc,this product does not support. I purchased for connecting my playstation video for youtube recording. It is not able to record the game. Not useful

Very useful device
It is a good device. I was able to find this device after lots of research. I have also gone through the reviews where everyone has suggested not to use the software provided. But I suggest you to use the given software as it is very simple to use. I have also tried different capturing softwares but the quality is same for all the softwares. So, it is a very good device for capturing videos from old vcr or Handycam using miniDV cassettes.
