Good size, seals well, low profile, holds up in the freezer and microwave (although it is plastic, so maybe microwaving them isn't the best).I purchased these because I'm on a super restricted diet to address a health issue. Because of the restrictions, I'm not able to eat out at all and therefore have to cook all of my meals. I hate cooking. Yes, HATE cooking! But I love eating :-) So, I knew that I would have to meal prep once a week and have all the week's meals prepped and ready to grab. It had to be a no-brainer, otherwise I'd get caught without any prepared food and end up eating something I shouldn't, risking the effectiveness of the diet (treatment).These containers have been a lifesaver! They're a good size to fit a meal and they're relatively low profile. They freeze well too. Thanks to these meal prep containers, I was even able to go on a ski vacation a couple weeks ago for 4 days. I prepped all my meals, froze them, then packed them in an insulated box and checked it as baggage for my flight. (Note: Apparently I should have used a cooler of some sort, not just an insulated box. The check-in agent almost didn't let me fly with my food, but I think he felt bad for me!) Without these containers, I would not have been able to go on the trip. Even after I'm done with this diet, I think I'll still use these containers to prep a large batch of food and freeze them. Frozen meals = less cooking!

After almost a year of use, although this product was very good in the beginning, as it has aged it seems to be absorbing and retaining dishwashing liquid despite thorough washing, rinsing, and drying. The scent and taste of the plastic seem to be released into the food during microwaving food. I'm not a chemist, but I can't imagine that is supposed to happen or is healthy. It certainly is unpleasant makes the product useless for microwaving, though it may be OK for food storage. Review changed from 5 to 2 stars. My original review about a year ago was: "Great for fridge to microwave and back cooking and storage. Lids fit and seal perfectly. Easy to wash. Surfaces do ot absorb food stains or grease. Surfaces do not disfigure and shape does not warp or distort from repeated frequent heating/cooling/freezing. Repeated heated and cooling does not.cause inside surfaces to bubble or become rough. Using sharp kitchen knives to cut food inside container can scratche the surface, but it would take a lot of pressure to penetrate the dish. Great for storinge, refrigerating, freezing, cooking, heating and reheating food."

Received the prep containers today, and after I untapped them and opened them 5 out of the twenty pack where broken and cracked and chipped aswell as 5 of the lids. Really disappointed

I don't always write reviews, but these containers are awesome! I was a little skeptical about their sturdiness since the price was so great, but these containers are exactly as advertised. I am actually getting ready to purchase more RIGHT NOW! :) They are durable enough for me to pack in my kids' backpacks without breaking OR leaking. Its not like I'm putting soup in there or something, but I did do the water test like they show in the listing and they didn't leak.

I've been using these for some weeks now. They are actually quite big, I don't usually fill the whole bowl up, but it is good to know if I have something larger it will fit. I have tossed them around, I can confirm that they have not leaked. I've used them in the freezer, they were fine. My only concern is the microwave. As I have been using them in the microwave too, i noticed that if they are in there for more than 1 min 15 secs the plastic starts to warp. As for the dishwasher, I can not say if they would survive the hot water, I hand wash. Overall good product, I might buy more of a different size in the future.

I am thoroughly impressed with this set. I was a little concerned (based on some of the images) about the durability of the containers, but they are actually great. I have not used them in the dishwasher, as I like to hand wash. With that in mind, I have washed the same containers a little over a month now with no problem. I am going to purchase a set for my mother soon.

I ordered these back in October and they are still holding pretty sturdy. My son's use them to take their lunches to work so they work well with the refrigerator and microwave. I have hand washed them and also put them in a dishwasher and none of them have cracked or warped. Very convenient!

I used about 10 of the 20 and almost every one gave me a hard time. I sliced my finger on the edge of one trying to close it. I eventually just taped them shut and told folks not to worry about bringing them back.
