great price to performance when I got it
Upgrading my gaming laptop with the CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 SODIMM 16GB (4800MHz) was one of the best decisions Iโve made for smoother gameplay and faster multitasking. Right away, I noticed the speed improvement. DDR5 at 4800MHz keeps everything feeling snappy, from boot times to loading large games. Multitasking is a lot smoother tooโno more slowdowns when running games, browsers, and background apps at the same time. Stability has been perfect. My laptop recognized the RAM instantly with no configuration required. No crashes, no compatibility issuesโjust plug-and-play performance. Even though this kit has CL40 timings, the real-world performance is excellent for gaming, streaming, and productivity. And because Corsair is known for consistent quality, the module feels solid, well-built, and reliable for long-term use. If you want a simple, clean, and noticeable upgrade for your gaming laptop, the CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 SODIMM is an awesome choice. Great speed, great stability, and a great overall improvement. Highly recommended!

6 Month Experience | Great Performance & Quality
I bought a brand new laptop and needed an extra 16gb of ram since 32gb is crucial for gaming and multitasking as I'm a developer. Corsair is a great company when it comes to ram, performance is great and matches the price of the product. Very easy to upgrade your laptop if you know how to open it, you just stick it in there put everything back in place and then turn on the laptop. That's it, no bios updating or changes, just instant ram once everything loads on your computer. Now for a more detail performance review, take note that ram isn't going to solve your performance problems all the time. It could be the CPU or GPU 60% of the time. But overall having many tabs opened and more than 3 other softwares opened at once running daily. The ram hasn't failed me at all, including when gaming I can have these other softwares running now since I have the extra ram available. Your PC or laptop needs to have ram to run windows or it's operating system and then all your software and gaming abilities. Hope this helps, remember to always account for CPU & GPU

Even Works with AMD CPU
When upgrading RAM, I usually try to go with sticks that are more designed for my PC, such as getting XMP RAM for Intel laptops as opposed to EXPO RAM that should work. Recently, I got a new laptop, which happens to be my first PC with an AMD CPU. When trying to find RAM for this new laptop, I wasn't able to find any SO-DIMM RAM with AMD EXPO profiles, so I defaulted to my trusted brand for RAM and hoped for the best. It took a bit of effort to make it work, but it works. During trial and error, I discovered that, at least for my particular laptop model, it needed to be plugged in before it would start up after installing RAM. When I started it up, it went through the usual process of configuring the new RAM. For some reason, possibly because it was rather cold (though it is constantly cold upon startup due to its metal frame), the screen did not turn on. I turned off the laptop using the power button, waited about 10 seconds, then turned it back on. I don't know if it made a difference, but as soon as I saw the disk usage light come on, I kept pressing delete until the screen powered on, which took several seconds. On the second startup after installing the RAM, I had to repeat this process. Now, though, it works without issue. In fact, it boots so much faster just by having more RAM that I often don't even see the Windows loading screen. I checked the memory frequency in BIOS and, since it's an ASUS laptop, I was able to check the memory speed in Armoury Crate as well. Both say the RAM is working as advertised at 4800 MHz. In addition to faster boot-up, I have the usual benefits of increasing RAM, like apps starting faster, more apps functioning at the same time without performance loss, rapid loading screens in games, etc. If you also have an AMD laptop, this Corsair SO-DIMM is worth trying even without the EXPO support.

Lightning Fast Speed and a Reliable Stalwart Computer Product Brand
I wrote this computer product review primarily for those Amazon product consumers that are not that computer savvy when it comes to buying IT products for their home or small business... First of all in a day and age when almost every country in the world seems to be manufacturing Information Technology computerized media products it is hard to know who you can trust to deliver high quality computer IT media products and electronic computing devices. However, with that said I have been an diehard IT product consumer of the Corsair brand name IT computer products for many years now. First off, I bought a Corsair brand wireless gaming mouse about 6 or 7 years ago that was a top notch computerized gaming peripheral device bosting legendary DPI settings at the time in past gaming history, and this gaming mouse lasted me over five years of everyday gaming for 5 to 6 hours of continuous hard usage. So, it's a proven fact that Corsair Computer product brand is a reputable long lasting IT product brand in my avid gamer geekdom opinion. Now, about a month ago I decided to buy another Corsair brand IT computer memory card product; the CORSAIR VENGEANCE SODIMM DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 4800MHz... Peeps, let me tell you that these Corsair Vengeance memory cards are lighting fast and they are pure adrenalin junkie, pumped-up speed demons for sure. My gaming laptop PC start-up time is now less then 60 seconds, no B.S. I kid you not!!! My HP OMEN 16 literally flies like a bat out of hell now that she's over-endowed with these Corsair killer speed demon memory cards... Would, I actually recommend this brand of high performance memory cards for your gaming PC? Heck, yeah I would these Corsair Vengeance memory cards, because they are incredibly rocket fast and the selling price isn't too steep either. So, if you indeed have the need for triple warp speed? I'd gladly say go for it all the way "Capt. Kirk" engage your PC ships warp drive engines in your gaming beast rig, buy yourself some Corsair memory cards and feel your blood rush straight to your head today!

Great RAM
Pretty much ships and delivers fast within a couple days. Upgraded my mini PC RAM from 24GB (12GB x 2) 5600MHz sticks to 64GB (32GB x 2) 4800 MHz sticks. Do note that my old RAM ran only at 4800 despite being 5600MHz sticks. Opened up the chassis and installed the new RAMs without issues. Found out I had a space for another NVMe SSD if needed. Initial bootup felt like it didn't boot properly but eventually did. Set the GPU to take on 8GB of the 64GB, with 27.9 GB in reserve for shared video memory. I've bought Corsair memory in the past for my desktop without issues. Great company!

Good value (2nd time's a charm)
First one was DOA (probably due to being shipped sandwiched between 2 cases of energy drinks). Replacement came quickly and works great. I used this to double my GMKTek's RAM for Proxmox. My server is humming right along.
