This is a simple lock that is typically used for sheds and similar backyard projects. I installed it on my DIY two-door shed and it is just what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised that all parts are metal and not plastic, and that it has a lock and key. This way I don't need to install a separate lock and a door handle, the handle rotates and serves as a door handle and it locks in closed position. Simple and saves time on installing and painting (around) additional hardware. It is a very light security, of course, but it works. My advice is to measure everything well before drilling the hole for the shaft, the interior locking part should be close enough to lock the door but pass freely when opening. I recommend this product.

This handle was easy to install, works perfectly as it should, and looks nice. Here’s the thing... I cannot get a copy made. I’ve tried 5 different stores (at $3 each), and a copy cannot be made. My husband contacted the company, and they cannot send a blank so we can get a copy cut. So, if I lose one key, I’ll have to replace the unit - because losing the second key would lock me out and I imagine there would be a ton of damage trying to get in just so I get it off to replace it. No, I do not recommend!

This T-Handle set was a great find: inexpensive with an extra long stem, keyed lock and all hardware included-in black.The kit was shipped in a bubble-padded envelope, but T-handle w/ stem and separate D handle were in the same plastic bag. During shipping, metal against metal caused scratches and pitting in the paint. Mind you, I am NOT complaining about aesthetics; but the paint is important because it keeps the metal from rusting.We chose to keep and install it, and will address the rust as necessity dictates.I'd originally given this T-Handle Lock Kit 3 stars, but re-thunk it. With better packaging, it's a solid 5+++

This T-handle fit perfectly where my old one was. The two screws that hold the handle in from the outside lined up perfectly with the holes where the old handle was secured. The D handle inside is actually larger than the one that originally came on the shed which I like. Some have mentioned stripping the set screw but I had no issues with that. It doesn't need to be tightened down real hard for it to secure the handle. I would recommend measuring the shaft on the old handle before ordering and make sure you get the right length for your replacement. Mine was 5-1/2" and the new one functioned perfectly.

Heavy duty shed lock, this is the second shed I have locked with this kit and it makes the door much more secure. I did install it using bolts, lock washers and nuts instead of using the included phillips screws which make it much stronger. I would highly recommend this lock for anyone wanting to keep their shed contents safe. Any door or lock can be defeated but this one makes it much more of a challenge for any potential thief.

This is a standard shed door handle kit that fit exactly with the old handle I removed - super easy to install. The only issue I had is that the "locking handle" that secures itself to the inside back of the door was shorter than the one I replaced. Would like to have seen it a bit longer to have a better sense of security when the shed is locked.

What else can you ask for is a decent locking shed handle that's very easy to install? It takes 2 screws to mount it to the shed and then tighten the set screw to the shaft.No complaints thus far.
