Woman World

Great read! Loved the art and the characters.

Well, this is certainly a far cry from Y: The Last Man. A book about men going extinct that, somehow, still centers on a man. I love how post-apocalyptic this feels. Feels more accurate how more primitive and distant society feels.It's funny and quick and smart. I didn't think you could make a comic about such a specific premise but I really enjoyed it.The world would probably be a better place, frankly.

I absolutely love this book, I previously followed the author on isntagram but wanted to purchase the whole book. It's so cute and funny, I actually laughed out loud! I hope to see more from this author!

I've been following this webcomic series since Aminder posted the very first one, and I was super excited to have a print version of it now. I've purchased a copy for myself and for one of my best friends, who I know is going to love it just as much as I do. Not only are the characters and their own stories absolutely wonderful, the art is just as amazing. Simple, effective, and the facial expressions get me every single time (Ina's lady boner face is my favorite).This series is about the empowerment, strength, resilience, and humor of women. This is about loving your sisters, no matter where they come from and learning to love yourself too. They struggle with validation, romance, and finding some women's razors amongst survival of the human race. (Nick’s daughter here) I’ve followed along with Woman World on Instagram for years and have always loved it. Aminder’s work is great, and so funny, and often ridiculously relatable. Book came in wonderful condition and I loved reading through it again in book form. So glad to be able to add this one to my collection. Would absolutely recommend!

Loved this book! Such a great concept and fantastic execution. This is something that every woman should read to get a good laugh into a perfect world for women.

I really enjoy this little comic, but I expected more of a coherent storyline. For the most part, this tends to be more of a thing where little one or two pages mostly stand alone. I should have realized this as the description refers to it as an instagram web comic- but I overlooked that component and instead paid attention to where they also refer to it as a "graphic novel"In my opinion it shouldn't be labeled that way.That said, I wouldn't turn away from it for that. Just think of it more like awkward yeti or sara scribbles books containing a compilation of their their comics, rather than a graphic novel in the typical complete storyline sense. There are a handful of reoccurring themes, but mostly its just funny without story progression.

I've been following Aminder Dhaliwal for years on social media and loved her stuff (check her instagram!), so when I heard she was putting all the women world comics into a book, I knew I had to get it! It features a diverse cast of characters (colors, ages, disabilities, appearances, etc.) and shows clever humor! She balances the present life the women live, along with having children and "the oldest woman" to provide insight on the future and past! Also it mentions a lot of funny pop culture references!

I was dubious about buying this for £14.99 because I had never seen the original comic when it was being posted on Instagram and I think I had just randomly found this title through a celebrity recommendation on Twitter. I'm so glad I bought it! it's obviously very easy to read in one sitting and it made me laugh out loud at several points. Highly recommended for all feminists of any gender.

Paul Blart - ein Name, den jeder kennt; ein Mann, den jeder bewundert. Segway fahren war noch nie so sexy. Seit ich meine Augen das erste Mal auf den todesmutigen Mall Cop gelegt hatte, war es um mich geschehen. In der Hoffnung, dass konstante Käuferzahlen letztlich dafür sorgen, dass es eine weitere Fortsetzung geben wird, kaufe ich einmal im Jahr erneut die DVD. Dieses Jahr wurde mir "Woman World" als Empfehlung basierend auf meinem Kauf angezeigt und ich dachte "Wieso nicht?" und bestellte es sodann gleich mit.Das Worldbuilding ist toll und dank der kleinen Einführung auch für Leser, die die Comics noch nicht aus dem Internet kennen, gut nachvollziehbar. Die Charaktere sind liebevoll, die Storys witzig und das Ende enttäuscht nicht. Am besten sind allerdings die vielen tollen Referenzen auf den besten Film aller Zeiten "Paul Blart - Der Mall-Cop". Man merkt schnell, dass die Autorin ebenfalls ein großer Fan ist (zurecht). Daher vergebe ich 5 von 5 Polizeimarken und eine Kaufempfehlung für alle Fans des Mall-Cop.Paul Blart for ever <3
