Iron is TOP QUALITY... It uses a standard power cable
Just my own review and a rebuttal to the 1 star review on here...It's true it doesn't come with the power cable. However the power cable is a standard three-pronged... same exact cable used on most modern TVs, desktop PCs, PS4 Pro, etc... you probably have one... and if you don't just be sure to order one along with it. "Amazon's basic power cable" will work just fine. That being said, the actual iron is great. It heats up almost instantly. The digital dial to set temperature is extremely nice. The unit itself feels extremely high quality and well put together...And even just the weight and balance of the iron feels much better than others I have used, which makes it much easier to work precisely and comfortably.

Works well, when it works.
Kind of finicky, reboots on its own when trying to change settings.

Used once and it died
Unfortunately I didn't get time to use it until after the return window had expired. started to solder a kit and it ran on default settings for ten minuets and died. fuse did not blow, it just died.Junk.

Update: NOT a bad unit.
Received DOA, so being the geek that I am, and that I can build these myself I opened the back to see if it was something as simple as a disconnected wire. Nope! The first thing I find is that the board itself even states that its 220VOLTS. So DUH! Not gonna work around here. Sending it back right now.Update:While working on another project, I had similar trouble and in diagnosing it, I discovered I actually had multiple BAD power cords (some were only letting 16-20v through). After confirming I had a functioning cord, I went back and retested this unit. It turns out the unit works just fine. The only issues I have is that the power connection is a bit too tight and requires considerable pressure to get a good contact and the iron handle is a bit loose on the cord side. No show stoppers.

That it works like it should
Sleep mode shake doesn't awake iron, goes to sleep have to push button. Doesn't hold time and date not happy with product

Works gret
insane power up delay (after you hit the switch it takes a good 10 seconds to turn on) but after that it heats up really quickly, menu allows for temperature offsets if you have a soldering iron thermometer... also can adjust sleep/auto-off times which is nice and does work (I have a bad habit of leaving irons on, no longer do I have to worry about burning down my workbench!)

Skeptical at first
I was a bit skeptical at first because I’ve seen some reviews that were anything but positive but for the money this is it really good soldering iron! Very happy with my purchase

Quick heating, works as described, should have included better tips and iron holder
I got this to try out the "T12" clone style as compared to my conventional Hakko 936. Does not come with a soldering iron holder. The tips it comes with are no good either, not sure why they dont't put in at least one good narrow chisel tip. It works fine for basic use, heats quickly, and turns off after time delay automatically. Would be nice if display will showed Fahrenheit but not a problem. Not sure why so many 1 star reviews, and most seem to be from a missing power cord - which is the type most people have 10 extras in a box anyway.
