AISIN SAT-002 OEM Differential Lock Actuator - Compatible with Select Lexus LX450; Toyota Land Cruiser

For those who are compiling that this version is not as durable as the original lockers that came in their Land Cruisers . . . the same folks make it under the exact same proprietary specs. Aisen makes good products and Toyota has owned a majority stake in the company for years and years. The old lockers on my 1993 still work well (after a re-build 10 years ago), but I also take the point in pulling, checking servicing them about every 5-10 years anyway. At some point, these Aisin's will not be available and so I want a complete front/rear set on hand. I have already accessed the internals to inspect the brush glue connections and add more high quality dielectric grease to the applicable internal parts before boxing them back up and placing on my parts shelf dedicated to the Land Cruiser . . . but though it may sound "beyond hobby" compulsive, my stuff lasts, I have the facilities and tools to get the job done quickly and having rare, spare parts on hand and at the ready has proven, many a time, to be a most prudent decision. Besides, I will always be able to resell them at cost (or better) when I start winding down my interest in maintaining (or in keeping) my vehicles.
