It works excellent. This is my third unit in the past ...
For me, I use this under a sink in my wet bar, I do not have floor drain lines, as, mine are located 3 feet off the floor. My Saniflo pumps the “waste Water” from the sink through 40’ of 3/4” PVC pipe. It works excellent. This is my third unit in the past 6 years. What I have learned from past experiences and why I’ve been through 3 of them, is, this pump is NOT a grinder pump, don’t expect it to chew up food, it’s not a garbage disposal. 2nd, since it does not just flow downward to a gravity drain like the rest of your home, it actually needs to PUMP the fluid, so don’t keep pouring sugary type drinks into it(like soda) or other, even beer and alcohol WITHOUT running water with it. If you do, the sugar base will foul the internal float and prevent it from turning on and the fluids will back up in your sink. YOU MUST RUN WATER WHEN POURING ANYTHING IN THE DRAIN OTHER THAN WATER ITSELF. Trust me, I’ve replaced 2 of these already. If you watch what goes into it, your good to go. I do now. I have no issues with cold water. I have no issues with hot water. I have no issues with the “Pumping” noise it makes. The Saniflo works great. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Works great.
Works just like described. Using it to drain my laundry tub, washing machine and shower in my basement. The only thing I wish it had was some adjustment on how soon it kicks in as it turns on and off quite often due to the fact that it keeps way ahead of anything draining into it.

Dependably Draining Dirty Dog
January 2012, I installed the Saniflow 021 SANISWIFT for a pro-grade dog grooming tub (see my picture). We use the tub daily and the pump continues to serve like a champ. It seems pretty unremarkable now, sitting out-of-sight and doing its job. Reading here, I agree with other weekend warriors that the SANISWIFT documentation leaves much to be desired. I also agree it is strange that Saniflow didn't put capped pressure-fit inlets everywhere instead of forcing a cut of least one top inlet for venting. The SANISWIFT pump is powerful and I'm certain it would handle the simultaneous output of two clothes washers. That said, I think the weakest link of the product is the rubber check valve coupling on the water outlet. I found that getting the coupling tight enough to stop leaks requires nearly stripping the supplied hose clamps! Because of the coupling, I highly recommend buying a Zircon 63931 leak detector (Amazon sells them) or similar and placing it by the pump to let you know the minute there is a problem. For safety from electrical shock, you'll also want to plug the pump into a GFCI outlet. Amazon sells GFCI power strips which should suffice in lieu of a proper outlet. In all, I'm happy with the pump and my installation. I'd love to see Saniflow improve the design of the check valve coupling. If this pump dies, in say 5 years, I will probably buy another 021 SANISWIFT just to save myself from modifying the plumbing. Good luck with your installs!

the suck thing is
this product does not work as it's describe , I installed 3 of them for my project. only 11 feet vertical but the water keep going back the pump , make the pump running continuously . also it very noisy and hot . the description of this product said 14' vertical .. SO NOT TRUE I had to replace all 3 of them for my customer with liberty 404 , it's strong and quite. the suck thing is , i can't return to amazon now , Lost almost $2000 for my stupid decision on trying this pumps.

Great unit
Replaced an old sump pump based system supporting a washing machine and slop sink with this Sanliflow SANISWIFT. The unit has been operating flawlessly for a couple of months now. It does have a smaller tank so it cycles more often than what I replaced but it is not too loud and I hardly notice it now. I have it pumping up to a sewer line around 5' from the floor with no issues. July 2021 - Just wanted to provide a quick update. Unit is still going strong after years of multiple loads of wash per week.

Love it.
Installed quickly and easily, works great to drain my washing machine. I even use the sink to wash out work things and its still going strong. Loud, but it only runs when water is going into it so its not a big deal. Can't wait to see how long it lasts. Anyone with common sense should be able to plumb it in, and with a little know how, you can use 1 inch PEX for the drain line, makes it a lot easier than having to plumb PVC in.

Definitely a buy for an ejector pump.
Replaced a huge tank with sump pump for this. The sump had super high flow, so it constantly overloaded the drain (probably poorly installed). This pump is adequate for a utility sink and washer. Much quieter, and my drain no longer rushes or gurgles. Also, the old tank was impossible to seal, so it let out nasty water smells. This unit fixed all my woes. Better yet it fits under my utility sink gaining me an extra 10 sq. Ft. In the garage. I don't understand why these aren't the golden standard.

Pumps well...A few annoying problems
The pump itself works really well. Two issues bring the review down. First, the check valve is really low quality (we are concerned about failure) and is prone to leaking around the clamps. The second problem is that the cord is really short. We would have preferred to pug it in further away from the sink. Yes, we put this on a outlet that will trip off it it gets wet, but I would rather have installed thae outlet well away from where it could get wet from the sink and far from the crappy check valve. In both cases, these issues are simply an issue of cutting corners with quality.
