Ayli Women's 3/4 Sleeve 1950s Retro Vintage Hollywood Star Party Large Swing Midi Dress

I just got this and I freaking LOVE this dress.!!!Mind, it has a chemically smell, like all Ayli products, and it needs to be rinsed in a cool sink (or a light rinse in a washer) hung dried, then ironed on a low setting. Or steamed. I've never had one of my Ayli dresses dry cleaned, YMMV.BUT The print is OMG gorge. It really nips my waist and looks fab on.Caveat: Ayli runs VERY small. I'm an 16-18 and ordered a 4X (?) multiple times. The spandex is just perfect.It fits like a dream, and I plan on wearing it everywhere.

My husband and I are going to take the Grand Canyon Railway trip to a "secret pumpkin patch" in October. Costumes were requested, but I am a Grandma, and didn't want to look inappropriate, or scare little kids! This dress is perfect - it's as cute as a pumpkin! The fabric isn't high quality, but the construction is very good. The zipper is excellent, and moves with ease. I'm a 12/14, and bought a size 16. I'm glad I did - a size 14 would have been tight in the bust and sleeves. The waist is big, but the cute red belt takes care of that. As one reviewer mentioned, the belt is rather small for a size 16, but my waist is 31 inches, so it's fine for me. Smaller sizes will have no problems with the belt. This dress is just really cute to wear to the Pumpkin Patch, for Halloween, or even a casual Thanksgiving dinner. I love it, and my husband was delighted with it when I "modeled"!

I love the dress. I ordered the largest size they sell. I am a 12/14 depending on the brand in regular US sizes. It is a little loose but I am fine with that as opposed to it be too tight. The fabric has a slight stretch to it. Not enough for an entire size up but a half size yes. I recommend you measure your bust and waist and order accordingly. I plan to buy a similar dress for Christmas.

This dress is so adorable nice material-great fit. it is my third Ayli dress and each one is so cute!I am plus size and the measurement chart is accurate! wonderful!

Firstly, the front is just tacked at the top, so there's no way to wear it as is without boobs showing. Secondly, I have little confidence in the stitching. I heard a couple of rips just trying the dress on. My husband has trouble zipping me into the dress because of the stretch factor of the material. I have to put it on backward, zip it halfway, turn it around, and have him finish it. I do like the look of the dress or I'd just send it back. I'm going to try adding a couple stitches in the bust to hold it together and see what happens.

This dress is so fabulous!!! I am a vendor at craft fairs, and wanted something kinda of fun and funky to wear. I was worried this would be constrictive, but it was very comfortable because the fabric is just stretchy enough, but not shiny or cheap looking. I got a million compliments. I will say I am smaller in the bust, and I thought this fit great. So I can't speak for those of you with the big bosoms!

I wanted to love this dress so badly, but the top of it just laid so oddly. It gapped badly. Very tight over my chest (hence the gap I guess) but from my shoulders to the tight point, too big. I'm a petite small, 5ft, 120lbs and it just fit oddly. My husband was like "I like the print, but it looks so weird at the top. :/

The dress itself is very cute! I wear size 4 and got a 4 and it fits just right.I feel the belt completes this dress but can’t wear it because it is permanently creased where it was folded in its package so there are 4-5 bends. It is also one size and with no belt loop there is about 10” that just hangs. I will have to buy a belt to complete the outfit.
