Fantastic! Feel like I found my way home.
Regarding Harney & Sons Japanese Sencha Tea: This loose leaf sencha tea is top quality! it's consistently light and sparkly/rich with a delightfully long and clean finish. And when I say long, I mean a lovely taste that lingers for many minutes after an each sip. No bitterness whatsoever, even on a long steep. I've had other sencha and jasmine teas as good, but I find they vary in quality, can be hard to find, are too expensive, not available in loose leaf, or go out of availability. The cup of Harney & Sons Japanese Sencha Tea now on my desk surprises me. I just found it in the back of my cupboard ... dated 2022! That says a lot about its longevity, the airtightness of the tin, and/or that somehow this tea ages like a fine cabernet! Somehow my new tries had pushed it to the back, and now their destined for the compost heap. Brewing is simple. I steep slightly less than a level tea spoon for 4 to 6 minutes. Second and third steeping produce very nice, slightly different tasting cups. The best
This is the best tea ever made. I have used it in a coffee pot, a French press and is a sit in mug holder. Warning tho - it is a mite spicy! Like a cinnamon red hot candy.

Love the taste!
Love this tea. Never heard of it before but the taste is really good. I always look for dark loose leaf teas. This will be one of my regular flavors.

A tad sweet, but good!
This is very good, but I don’t taste the licorice. I like my tea strong, with a little bite, so I put more tea in the bag than recommended, which also makes it a little sweet for my taste—which I assume is the licorice. Overall, very good. Better than most ginger teas.

Perfect (said the tea snob)
Lived in England for 22 years and became a tea snob. This is the best I have found in the US. Steeped for 5 (not 3) minutes and it is perfect.
