It does a good job!
Once I learned how to use it with a program, I really like this machine! I’m new at this so perhaps my expectations are low but it was worth the money for me.

Fantastic product
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, she is a machinist and loves designing and creating things from metal. This laser cutter and engraver is the absolute best thing for home projects, gift giving, color tablets for our kids etc. 10/10 would highly recommend, setup and installation is super easy 10/10, and learning how to use this is also super easy 10/10.

Very poor customer service
I've been back and forth, no folow thru from Longer. Despite multiple resets, and not getting into the source code. The unit is perpetually off grid, 1-2cm from software settings forbthe graphics. Makes it roulette despite tests if your project will be on target. It ruined several permanent pieces by jumping locations from the tests. I hope this is not a regular thing but my unit blows as does Longer's software. Further, it just won't work on Mac. They claim it will but you have to manually install drivers and risk messing with your OS. And it still didn't work. Think they were pushing lemons in this run.

Longer Ray 5 Great Laser
Longer Ray 5 20w. Great machine cuts flawlessly, Great at engraving. Easy set-up and start-up. Package is good no damages from shipping. Makes quick work when the proper setting is found for the material I am cutting. I would recommend this laser to anyone from a new to lasers or experienced person.

Proceed with caution… There is a reason it is always on sale
I have had this machine for less than 24 hours. During that time I have been able to cut about 10 files but now the machine does not want to do anything because as soon as you click any of the buttons, it says there is a fire and it shuts down. I have reached out to support, but no one has responded… Maybe that’s why they keep putting this thing on sale….
