I’m so happy with this permanent cream hair dye from ColorCharm. I’m just an average guy that doesn’t know much about hair and still had great success with this product. The instructions make it clear how to develop and apply the product. And I really, really like the cream texture compared to the liquid dye and toner. I have short hair, so it’s nice to apply this as a cream instead of a liquid that’s going to drip a lot easier. I also looove the scent. My bathroom always smells like a salon after I’ve used this. And I will say the color swatch is pretty accurate. I typically lighten my hair from a natural red/caramel before applying this hair dye and I’ll usually do this the same day. So far, the colorcharm products have never left my hair feeling damaged or looking fried. The color is always top notch, doesn’t fade quickly, and so easy to apply.

I am so happy to be able to buy this on Amazon instead of going to a store! The color is good and it doesn’t damage my hair. I don’t know if it’s just my hair but it seems to fade a little earlier than I’d like. Haven’t found anything better though. It’s easy to use!

There was a time when I would have rated this 5 stars but they changed the formula about 6 months ago and it is terrible. The texture is different, the color of the paste is different, and the smell is different (although the odor is more pleasant). I loved this stuff before they decided to take a great formula and ruin it. I used it for years and my hair looked like a salon did it. Beautiful color, bright and even - got compliments all the time. Now....it's darker, soooo brassy, colors unevenly. It looks so cheaply done, it's embarrassing. I haven't had a mess on top of my head this bad since high school when I bought drug store dyes. Right now, those drug store dyes seem more appealing to me than this stuff. I am going to have to have my hair dresser straighten it out. Oh, I forgot to mention how quickly it washes off of my gray roots. I went to my neighborhood Sally's store and they told me they're getting a lot of complaints about this line since they changed the formula. They had no suggestions on what to do except to maybe go with the 8/G41 in the liquid solution. I tried it but it's too late, I have to have a professional straighten this out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LINE OF COLORING. This is a harsh review, probably the worst I've ever given, but I don't want anyone else to cheapen the look of their hair. :(

Looks cute but is darker than I thought it would be, an ashy colour. I originally had platinum blonde hair where this is for reference.
