This high brightness LED lamp with a die-cast housing is designed to be used as a replacement for a conventional halogen lamps. The design of this unit ensures good heat dissipation in order to maximise operational life whist ensuringering high brightness. The Soldering Iron would be better if supplied with a 'flat screwdriver' type bit, and not just a 'chisel' type bit. 2. The 'Stand' is well constructed and has a good weight. My concern is that the 'sleeve' which shrouds the 'hot' iron is made of plastic and could melt if left in contact for long. Apart from the above I found that both tools performed to my expectations.
