Product is thick but spreads easily. Was able to detangle with it. however after a few uses, got smelly and appeared to be developing mold. The package doesn't say to refrigerate or if to use out within a month. I think more guidance was needed.

I was very happy to get my order before the excepted delivery date. I couldn't wait to use this product and a pre poo and a dc. I was so disappointed. After using this masque my hair was not soft but very very dry. I felt like I had used a clarifying shampoo instead of a dc. If I didn't have to pay postage I would send it back.

It is rich and smells delicious. I mixed the product with my natural hair dye so my hair received a full treatment whilst the dye processed. Great results.

I love SheaTerra products and use them exclusively because they are not loaded with chemicals, and the quality is superb.This Kalahari Mongongo hair mask has made my hair glowingly healthy, soft, silky and lush. I just ordered 2 more jars as I do treatments weekly on my waist length hair.In no way has this product dried out or caused any damage at all. It baffles me to read feedback that says so. I highly recommend this hair mask if you are interested in pure quality, conscoiusness toward sustainability, freedom from toxic chemicals and hormone disruptors. A brilliant product.

to be fair,I've only used it once, but it had such a strong chemical odor, like car oil or something. it is thick but I didn't find its moisturing effects to be lasting. I may try it again at some other point when I forget why I never used it up.

I'd say this product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! But then, I am biased toward Shea Terra products. I love the company, what they stand for, and the quality of their products. I do not use this straight out of the jar. I mix two tablespoons of the conditioner, with two tablespoons of olive oil, avocado oil or grapeseed oil and one tablespoon of raw honey. I use a mini silicone spatula, and mix ingredients together in a little anchor hocking glass bowl. I section my hair in four and apply to each section, sit under a conditioning heat cap for 20 minutes, rinse and VOILA! Nice, soft, shiny hair! AMAZE-BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received my order fast which I like. I have used this product so far twice as a pre-poo. I didn't see any noticeable difference maybe with continued use I'll see some results. For now I'll continue using.
