McFarland USA [Blu-ray]

Took our pre teen girls to this movie in the theatre when it first came out & they still wanted to buy it 2 years later. One of the great films you can watch over & over & is good.

I really liked the cross country team depicted in this "based on a true story" movie. Kudos to the actors and their real-life models for the roles. I ended up doing research on the Internet after watching the movie because of the runners depicted. Costner is a good choice for the sports genre.

A true story that is an inspiration to those who watch it. It is a moving the whole family could watch and enjoy. A sleeper that should be on everybody's top ten.

Timely delivery on great product, just as described.I love this movie, and the additional features included on the disc were fun to watch. A keeper, without a doubt.

Story well told and wonderfully portrayed. This kind of story is so desperately needed right now with divisions so strong in the country.

Typischer US-Film. Eine Gruppe junger mexikanischer Einwanderer wird von ihrem Sportlehrer (Kevin Costner) trainiert und werden zu erfolgreichen Cross-Läufern. Eine Prise typischer Vorurteile, eine Prise Sozialkritik und Humor - und fertig ist die Erfolgsgeschichte. Die natürlich, wie bei solchen Fimen üblich, auf wahren Gegebenheiten beruht. Wenn man motivierende Sportler-Filme mag, die auch noch kurzweilig erzählt werden - kann ihr nicht viel falsch machen. Auch, wenn man den Eindruck hat, dass Costner als Schaupsieler kaum gefordert wurde.
