I tried every thing I could to no effect. The software would start, then never run the program. I wrote a long, polite email to the support team. I will compliment them on their timely reply. However, when one expects support, after following the minimal instructions, their response is laughable. It follows:"I am sorry for the trouble you had with the hard drive eraser. I would suggest getting a USB that can install Linux Mint which we offer through our venders (sic) on Amazon. That way you don't have to erase all your files." Regards,VinceThe issue is that I already paid for the product that states it is compatible with all computers. Perhaps that means it spins in your CD drive on all computers, if it works to do what is advertised, so much the better.I am computer fairly computer literate. To receive support telling me to buy another product is just amazing.I would only recommend this product to someone's ex-wife (grin).

Windows computer couldn't read data on disc. Avoid...imo

Did what was expected.

Took longer than I expected to wipe hard drive on laptop. Customer service from vendor was wonderful.

Did exactly what it says it will. I had two older computers that I want to recycle but couldn’t reset. I tried everything I possibly found online to delete them but nothing worked. This finally safely wiped the hard drives.

Worked well on my old Dell, Asus, and Apple laptops.

Product failed to do anything useful. On examing contents of disk, saw some Unix command files but nothing that would do anything useful on a windows machine. NOT RECOMMENDED.
