Not great for sensory issues
I've tried both the normal and the spf now. I definitely prefer the normal one, spf protection is great and it's just as good at hydrating however it tastes like suncream as soon as you put it on. From someone that deals woth sensory issues it's led to me just not using it because I hate the taste so much that I'm just taking off the lip balm as soon as possible to try and get rid of the chemical taste. It's also a slightly different consistency. The normal is slightly thicker and soothing whereas this one is a bit more oily and thinner feeling. If you don't struggle with this them perfect, works just as well as the normal. But if you do, then I recommend just sticking to the normal version.

Amazing results in just two days
I burned my lips badly on holiday in the UAE. Despite using SPF, vaseline, temple spa and other lip balms my lips would not heal and kept peeling and bleeding. I found Aquaphor online and the reviews seemed really good. But they are definitely not as good as the product, which is totally amazing! After the first 8 hours my lips stopped bleeding and started to heal. Within 48 hours they were almost back to normal. I cannot believe how this product has turned around my peeling, cracking and bleeding lips in under two days. I have used loads of lip balms in the past but will never now be without a tube of Aquaphor. It's a miracle in a tube!

Horrible taste!
Well, it’s a good moisturiser protection for skin, BUT don’t lick your lips, it’s horrible to taste. With lip balm it’s quite impossible to not get a taste of it, and this one is vile. I’m sticking to the flavour ones, Burt’s Bees and Nivea Shine are much nicer. I’ll keep this one for rough chapped skin elsewhere but not lips, yuk.

Excellent lip cream
I have very dry lips and this does an excellent job of moisturising them. Unusually for a lip balm, it stays on the lips for a decent amount of time, reducing the need for constant reapplication.

Good
Has a bit of a weird taste due to the sunscreen in it. But it is so moisturising!! I’m on roaccutane and it works wonders. I used to use the original one before but switched to the sunscreen one, and they are both as good as eachother.

Phenomenal
It’s Vaseline but with spf in it. I love the formulation. It’s silky and light, doesn’t clump or stick to your lips like Carmex. It’s also got no smell (to me at least), but has a slight spf taste so do be aware of that.
