I bought this so I have a second source of protein power when my other source is out of stock. I'm very delighted with this product. It does not add any unpleasant tastes or smells to my smoothies. In fact it is also more cost effective than my other source of Whey based protein power.It may be a one-off fluke, but this Whey powder is much easier to handle than my other protein powder. The other powder is very clingy and sticky and clings to my plastic measuring scoop. This results in my fingers, the scoop, and inevitably the countertop covered with Whey powder dust. The BulkSupplements.com Whey Protein Concentrate does not exhibit any of these negative handling issues. It scoops out cleans and leaves no residue on me or my tools.The first time I opened the bag it was difficult to get the bag to close again. This was because the Whey powder infiltrated into the bag locking mechanism grooves. No problem, I simply flicked as much powder out of the grooves and slowly meshed the closure back together. Subsequent opening and closing of the closure over a few days cleaned out the remaining Whey powder and I've had no issues with the bag closure mechanism since then. The bag base is very well designed and keeps the bag upright and steady. Your experience may differ if the bag was mishandled during shipment, but I received my bag through Amazon Prime delivery in pristine condition.I like it a lot and will continue to purchase this Whey powder for my daily needs.

No flavor or texture if you mix well- I use in my coffee but add protein to cold milk then add coffee. Seems to mix better with cold liquids.

First off, I read several reviews claiming that the package cannot be closed once it is opened. Of course, my initial reaction was that people were complaining about nothing, but really, you will not be able to seal this bag once it is opened. In fact, it is so terribly designed, you cannot even fathom why they even attempted to put a ziplock-type seal on the bag. They need to find a different manufacturer for the seal because the one they use doesn't even come close to working. You will be finding some kind of alternative to seal the product.As for the product, I am happy with it because it is not loaded with nasty unhealthy additives. Look at the label of virtually every other protein supplement, and it is shocking what they throw in the bag. Of course, the others taste delicious, and even when they claim that there is no added sugar, or just one gram of sugar, they are loaded with fake sugar, which is so much worse for ingestion. With that being said, however, this does not taste good. To keep it simple, I stir it into a glass of water and just chug it down. It doesn't taste awful, but it is not pleasant. It is worth it knowing that you're not loading yourself up with nasty chemicals.I would have given this product 5 stars, but the bag that doesn't seal brought my rating down to 4 stars. You'll be happy with the product though.

I've been taking this protein brand for quite a while. And I prefer it over others because it's cheaper and very good quality. Mixes well with anything but I just use water with it.

I've purchased and used several different protein powders. When it comes to baking, I was searching for a good quality protein concentrate powder. After a lot of research and some trial and error, I decided to try to this unflavoured protein concentrate. It has been perfect to bake with. It doesn't have any type of odor, dissolves easily, is tasteless, and most importantly adds an excellent amount of protein to my baked goods. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an unflavoured protein powder.

Product is exactly as advertised. You're getting a kilo (or whatever size you ordered) of unflavored whey powder that holds together and dissolves surprisingly well - though pretty much always mix my whey into oatmeal or something similar, so the heat could be helping out there - but in any case, this is a pretty solid product. Unflavored might seem like a turnoff to some, but I've never really cared much for taste, and in an odd way, it seems to make what you added it to more hearty and wholesome. So for those that are concerned with palatability or gustatory eating, keep that in mind. Minimal clumping and minimal stick; this stuff is truly dry and will not stick to anything unless steam or humidity gets into the package or your scooper - as is the case with pretty much any other whey, or anything dehydrated for that matter. The whey comes out of the bag clean and comes off and out of the scooper clean.Speaking of which, on a quick side note, the scoop I used is one from another whey product, as this does not come with its own scooper. On one hand, that's a bit of a detriment if you don't have your own scooper, but on the other hand, it saves resources when you think that not every single package of whey will come with a scooper that may or may not get thrown out. Also, the ziplock opening may seem like it's not able to close at first, but it's really just from the shifting and settling of the contents in the slider. You can either force-press the zips together like I did or just brush it off back into the package, and then you'll get it to close - if that happens to be the case with you as it was with me. Plus, I should mention that you should BE CAREFUL when you're using a fat or pointy knife to open the box; you might poke a few holes in your whey since this is in a packet/package/pouch as opposed to the containers/tubs of other protein companies.But anyways, that's essentially BulkSupplements Whey in a nutshell. It's not anything spectacular, but what it does, it does well. I'm not one that subscribes to the theory of downing whey after every single workout the moment I drop the barbell. I use whey just as it is described as; a "supplement." It's really just a simple way for me to get some extra good quality protein in, particularly on days where I've felt that my total intake was low, and also when I really don't feel like eating much. I would definitely recommend this product just off of the fact that you can get a good amount of quality whey in bulk. I got the bulk creatine from this company a year ago and I was pretty pleased with what I got. Same goes here.
