Works great as an EPROM erasure too!
As some of us old timers know, we had electrically programmable read-only memory chips in the early times of computer revolution. Some could be erased by exposing the chip to UV light. And therefore there were UV-erasers with UV-light bulbs inside. Now those times are gone. But some old equipment still contains those EPROMS. However, you can no longer find them at this day and age. What do you do?There is always a silver lining in the tough times we had to go through during Covid19. Now we started using UV-C to kill the germs of any kind for good hygiene. This is great for babies. But there is another great use of these UV-C based sanitizers. They work as EPROM erasers. And this one is what I bought for this purpose. I erased several EPROMS: 2716, 27C16, 2732A etc.It is really high quality and I verified it generated UV-C light. Since it's made as a sanitizer and not as an EPROM eraser, it has a rather short timer, either 1min or 3min. I had to use a timer to turning it on every three minutes until battery runs out. It takes about 3 battery charge-discharge cycles to completely erase the EPROM chips. So, it takes a lot of patience, but it does work.Nice product. I do not know how effective for killing germs but it does generate true UV-C light. So, there you have it. For that reason alone and it never failed, I would recommend it.

Smaller than expected
Only really for one pacifier if wanting to use properly

Convenient
I love that it’s small enough to fit in the diaper bag. It also comes with a handle that can be hooked onto the outside of the diaper bag if needed. My son drops his pacifier quite often when we are out so having this on me gives me peace of mind for easy cleaning. It can be pricey for something that soap and water can do but I run into the issue of not having that nearby.

DOES produce UV-C. Verifiable.
The media could not be loaded. If you know how to check for UV-C, you can verify this does, in fact, produce UV-C light. There are a couple other reviews here they use a docimeter card to check, but use it incorrectly. UV-C readings disappear instantly when the light is removed, there is no fading. The case is decent, but the fact that I have to squeeze and deform it to open it concerns me in the long run. Will see how it holds up under repeated stress.I got this for sterilizing my contacts, since I was unable to find a UV-C sterilizer made specifically for contacts. I did not want a ultrasonic cleaner. The rubber strap is odd, as you have to physically lift it up when you put the box on the counter. It's just a bit too long.

Unacceptable and Disappointing
I recently ordered this pacifier santiizer, and unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with my purchase. The item arrived in a box that clearly looked like it had been previously opened. There were visible signs of handling, and the seal looked like it had been picked at. Upon opening it, I noticed the sanitizer itself showed noticeable wear and tear, as if it had been used before. There were scratches and marks that were not mentioned in the product description. This is especially unacceptable given that this product is meant to sanitize pacifiers for babies. I expected a brand-new, clean product, not something that has been previously handled and potentially exposed to contaminants. Unfortunately, I can’t use this sanitizer in its current state and will be seeking a return. This experience has been far from acceptable.
