The product does keep the sun from blaring in the window. It is fairly simply to apply. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that there wasn’t much on each roll.

Put this on my daughter’s room window today and it really helped to keep her room comfortable. Her room is always very hot it gets up to the 90s in temperature during the day and the AC never reaches into her room. We aren’t able to place a window unit in her room because it has sliding glass doors and we live in an apartment. Today however when it was about 100 degrees outside it felt so good in her room after i put this on both sliding doors. I am glad i got this because now my daughter will be comfortable. I am able to see through the window from the outside at night, but during the day people cannot see in if that makes sense.

** LAST UPDATE OCT 2022**Now that they’ve been up a few months and in the sun I can 100% say they don’t work. They don’t block out heat and are completely see through. There is absolutely no reason to them anymore. Huge waste of time, money and effort.**updated**I will give them credit they keep the heat out. However everything I said before is still true. Silver is majorly blue so I don’t even want to know how blue the blue one is. Two I bought another roll I gave them another chance, this roll is correct length and cut straight, HOWEVER it doesn’t stick to the window like the first two did. I don’t see how that’s possible.Because of the major differences in quality between each roll I just don’t think it’s worth it. I’m leaving it up because it does block up the heat. However I had to tape the corners or every sheet down to keep them from falling off.First of all it’s only been up 30 minutes and it’s night time. I will have to update later but we already have a few problems.The biggest problem is I bought two rolls. One was cut to the correct size, the other is missing HALF of the product! It’s HALF the size as the first. Mind you I bought the same size. My next problem is I purchased silver, I received blue. Annoying. My third problem was both rolls were cut crooked. Both lean to one side and I know this isn’t our error because at the top it fits and then we pull straight down and slowly flatten against the window, no matter how many times we re-do it, it’s still crooked. I’m not sure if I can even return it seeing as it’s cut into pieces. I’m not sure I want to buy more either seeing as the crappy quality but again half my windows isn’t covered because of the missing product. I really don’t want to mix two different products. It’s a mess. I bought this to help the stress in my life and instead it added more. I do not recommend.

Nice thickness, which helps with install and assumed durability. Don’t think the scotch tape used to keep it rolled-up is ideal. It peeled a small area off…so, you might want to use the footer (opposite of your taped end, as your top edge) and cut the end that uses the scotch tape. My glass allowed room for me to trim, but it could be a problem for certain applications.Overall, it works well enough, with an exception. I guess the exception is logical…but it caught me off guard. The film requires “sunlight”…which means the darker the day, the little-to-no coverage. Therefore, zero coverage at night, and very little in the early am, depending on if it’s facing the east vs west.I ordered one roll to test and didn’t realize the exception until after ordering the 2nd roll to finish the job. So, I’ll likely return the 2nd roll, consider the 1st roll a sunk cost, and find a product that doesn’t require the “reflected light” to conceal.I think a more accurate term for this product is a sun blocker film with a conditional concealment feature. I could see this being a major shock for those who only test it in the sunlight and assume they have coverage at all times.

This is exactly what I was looking for, our screen door get so hot from moving bring to after which in return makes our front doo hot. This was easy to apply, easy to cut fit exactly how I wanted. Can’t say enough color is perfect nice and smooth looking finish and is hold on great would definitely recommend it looks amazing in our door and lights no light in which I wanted

You cannot see out from inside ...it makes the whole window black! Could have taped a black Bristol board on the window for $1.50.

This was much better than another one I bought. Clear, easy instructions. Thick film. It’s not good at night if this is what you’re needing so this won’t be for you. I need it for day time which is works great.

Bought two rolls hoping to cover kitchen window instead of blind. Scrubbed windows etc. followed the instructions but didn’t work. Just seemed to slide off.
