HEXICOM Av 200 Mbps Powerline Ethernet Adapters (Both with WiFi Support) Kit Homeplug Bridge PLC 2 LAN Ports(HM200W/HS200W)

The media could not be loaded.  I am currently using a Linksys wireless router in the basement and my kids always complain about wifi coverage on the second floor. I have tried a wifi range extender before but the service is intermittent. Finally, I decided to buy a Google 3-node mesh wifi system that costs $300+ (eero can hit $500+).Before I made the purchase, I heard about the HEXICOM HM200W/HS200W Powerline Ethernet Adapter and decided to give it a try. This is just like a wireless router with two nodes. The master one connects to the incoming modem of the ISP, while the extender node can be plugged in a power socket anywhere in the house. Both nodes will provide unified wifi coverage, which allows you to walk from master wifi zone to extender wifi zone without any interruption. The best part is that the two nodes are connected through the existing power line of the house, so there is no wiring between two nodes and no need to worry about the wifi signal strength in the extender node location.I received the shipment yesterday. It took about 15 minutes to set up. All I had to do was plug it in, connect to the modem, connect to the computer to access the admin page, and type in the wifi name and password. Then I ran a simple internet speed test in the farthest bedroom, and the download speed exceeds 60 mbps. I started two Netflix movies simultaneously on the second floor, and both were running very smoothly.This is great technology and a solid product, and I strongly recommend it.ps. I followed the recommendation to use a separate power socket for each node, works excellently. The speed might get degraded if the node is plugged in a power extension, but I never try that.

This product works as well as advertised.I always used my laptop downstairs，far away from the router . I was previously using wireless and an extender. It was slow speed and extremely unstable.After some research I purchased this product for improving my network.Setup is quit easy...works great! Within minutes,I got stable connection and much more faster speed than before.it was So great!

I really wanted this product to work. Every time I plugged it in it blew the circuit breaker in my study. I thought there was something wrong with my home wiring. I returned it for a refund 2 Amazon and then I purchased the TP Link av 750d powerline adapter. The tp-link Powerline adapter set up immediately with no problems and it even enabled me to clone my existing wire Fi Network. I now have internet in the back of my house as strong as if I was standing right next to the router in my study. It was a dream come true

The setup was very easy and the adapters worked as expected. The speed was quite good and there was no problem streaming videos. I used it with Netflix and Amazon Prime video with out any problem. I can recommend the Hexicon powerline adapters.

I liked the ease of setting it up. I basically plugged it in and it was up and running. The only thing I didn’t like was the inability to place a password on my WiFi after connecting the device. It’s open and anyone can essentially log on. I clicked on the indicated instructions and they aren’t exactly the same as on the booklet provided. Not sure if the steps have been updated and not on their instruction manuals.

I,m a certificated IT engineer but this product is terrible, slow, will not connect and produce a lot of useless traffic on your network.. DO NOT BUY, Yes slow, and range terrible to the other room 30ft away same electrical network, 180mb internet getting only 11 mb and on my router log DHCP WARNINGS offering ip without success (HEXICOM is in BRIDGE MODE)

After 2 weeks of use, my WiFi network is no longer the same. Now I have access to the internet anywhere in my home. It was very easy to configure, paired and make the network secure.I recommend it 100%.

When the summer started the kids were sucking WiFi Bandwidth from my laptop.Acquiring these allowed me to get back to work. It did take a bit of work to get them right, but I eventually did and I do not think about them.The one thing I noticed is that you need to plug in the unit near the router first, then the remote one. When the power goes out you will need to do the same thing.

Awesome product. Wish I hould find additional slaves sold separately to add on but very happy with quality of signal.
