So far so good
One day in and it's better than I thought it would be. It's easy to connect to my Motorola Razr 2024 phone, and the picture is fantastic. My hand shakes a lot, so using it freehand isn't a great option, but the stand worked perfectly. If things change, I'll come back to update things.

Amazing!
Love this thing. Bought it to look at something small to check if I needed to replace it. Couldn't get my phone cam to get a good image of something that small, so I ordered one of these. Since then, I've turned into a kid again, using it to look at everything I can up close.Easy to use. Get it physically set, then dial in the focus, and then use the button to zoom in. I've looked at the microscopic animals from my local lake. Looked at wood and other vegetation up close. Even grabbed a few insects to look at out of the backyard.

It's okay, but not perfect
It works, its pretty easy to use as well, the software you have to download for the PC is a little questionable but the phone app is pretty good, you can tell the PC version was an after thought.Pros:-If you're looking for a cheap microscope this is pretty good for the cost.-The Phone Software is pretty well thought out-Come with a USB charger as well as the stand which is nice quality of life stuff.-The stand is a nice solid metal piece and honestly I wasn't expecting it to be as nice of a quality as it was.The Average:The build is a little flimsy but not 'fall apart in your hand' bad, so for the cost I'm going to say about average.Cons:-There is no battery level marker as far as I can tell which can be a pain sometimes.-The light is. . . questionable, it often goes out on me for no reason, I have to hit the side of the thing a few times to get it come back on.-The zoom is overstated. It's not going to be giving you the levels they said it would, but its pretty good otherwise.

A few instructions to get started with this terrific microscope!!
Below is my 5 star review which I still agree with! I love this microscope. It's fun and easy to use. BUT if you need to use the stand with it which I often do because my hands aren't steady enough to get a good view of things, sadly the tightening mechanism in the stand doesn't work. It can't hold the microscope in a position that allows you to use the stand. It falls down :(Below is my 5 star review which is accurate! The 1 star review above is about the stand only.Got this product to see if there were dust mites in my house! In one photo, you can see a piece of paper towel with a small amount of dust that was in a drawer. In the other photo, you can see what the dust looks like, looking through the digital microscope!! (To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what it shows! Maybe there are mites in there? I don’t know!🤷♂️)When I bought it, I was sure it was going to be too difficult to figure out how to use. Then I discovered the microscope comes with a user manual!A couple of things to know…It needs to be charged before you use it. Charging cable is included. Charge it through a wall outlet. It says it takes about two hours or so to charge. In the back you’ll see a red light coming from inside which tells you it needs to be charged and when it’s fully charged the light will turn blue. The manual says it will stay charged for three hours.Download the app Max-seeTurn the microscope on before opening the app.Open the app… Launch it… Connect it to Wi-Fi. It may say it’s Not connected, but it is!What the microscope is pointed at now shows up on your phone screen! There is also a way to connect it to your computer, but I connected it to my phone so I could walk around with it.It asks to have access to my photos, but I did not allow it basically because I wasn’t sure if this was a safe thing to do.When I saw something on my phone screen that I wanted to take a photo of I took a screenshot. You can also press one of the buttons on the microscope to take a photo. You will surely develop your own methods!!Enjoy using it!!😃
