The wash basin is fine the flimsy drain hose was a joke. However a quick trip to a local home improvement store and a6 dollar purchase of a sump hose 1 1/4 diameter fitting included along with hose. It was a perfect fit and plenty of extra hose for other uses. I cut the hose off at 3 feet so it could hang in a bucket to catch the rinse water.

Wow...what a fantastic product. The basin is easy to use. It does not leak. It supports the neck and head of a bedridden patient perfectly. I also used it to wash my husband's feet and hands ! Instead of draining the basin with the flimsy plastic hose, I used two buckets. I placed a doubled bath towel under my husband's head and neck. I filled one bucket with water and used a small container to scoop up some water to pour over his head/hair to shampoo in the basin, rinse, shampoo again and rinse. Then I removed the basin from under his head resting his little bit soapy head on the towel and poured out the water into the second bucket. Then I replaced the basin under his head to rinse again three more times. Sure beats using dry shampoo or wipe off liquid shampoo. The blow up basins are awful and cause water to leak out under the neck and gives no support for the head. Also the draining system with the blow up basin is hard to use. We had one once and finally gave up trying to use it. We are so happy with this sturdy basin and recommend it highly !!!

I use to use an inflatable head bucket but this base is way better. A lot less water to clean up.

I ordered this to replace an inflatable hair washing basin that got punctured. I was worried it might be too hard, but it’s not. The indentation where the neck goes is just right and so is the headrest in the middle. The head is elevated which makes it easy to wash the back of the head, and the basin is made of a sturdy plastic which stays in place. It does not tip over. It comes with a detachable hose which you can use to empty it out, but I have not found it necessary. It’s easy to carry the basin over to a sink to empty it out.

The basin is well sized and is made from thick plastic. It's solid enough to hold with one hand while half-full of water without collapsing or bending. It has made washing hair of a bedridden individual so easy. So glad I purchased this!

This is exactly what I had in mind and finally found it. Very easy to use. Hold the head up so that hair can be rinsed. Comfortable and easy to use. I highly recommend.

This works great. Didn't give it 5 stars because the drain hose connection to the bottom of the basin is quite weak. I used a rubber band to try to keep it attached but I still had to check it frequently. Drain hose is light duty. Doubt it will hold up for regular use for an extended period.

no collapsing as the inflatable ones - could use a longer hose though to go off hospital bed n be inside the bucket that I drain it in but overall pretty easy to use n no wet beds =)
