I was using it with an old deskptop computer and it works great. The range is good, never found a connection issue with the router. The design could be improved, easy to push and break so be careful and remeber that one usb port will be occupied. Windows detects it easily and you will get a steady wifi connection.

This USB antenna works great. Perfect solution for connecting desktop to internet wirelessly.plug and play for windows, but the Linux install will take some research and user configuration. I use Linux primarily, so it's great this is compatible for both. Overall I am happy with this antenna and it does the job. Thanks

My first time leaving an Amazon review will do so more often for products that wow me. I bought this because recently I purchased a refurbished older desktop that was older (windows Vista) unfortunately I had no wireless connectivity only Ethernet but after buying this and installing it I'm able to use my desktop with a wireless connection. The speeds it puts out are phenomenal as well. I have gamed on this so far (Wizard101) and streamed you tube. Definitely recommend it has only been a week tho hopefully it lasts!!

When I built my computer, I realized I didn't have any WiFi features installed, and I didn't have any WiFi features installed on the motherboard, but it was too late. I was too lazy to open the box or try to install anything else, so I got this. On Windows 10, I didn't need to install a driver to get the device working. So far, so good.

The product arrived with a miniature disc which I cannot use. I had to physically connect to the internet, which contradicts why I wanted a wifi adapter in the first place, in order to get instructions that took me around in circles to install, eventually failing. I looked for and found no direct support, which led me to Amazon who said they could have the seller contact me within 24 hours. Who has time to sit at their home computer for 24 hours waiting on someone to contact them with instructions on how to install a product? I also learned that I missed the window for returning the product. No happy at all. RIP-OFF.

You won't find a cheaper adapter that comes with an antenna than this. Didn't need the driver disc it came with. Automatically installed, and I connected to it and immediately got a quadrupled download speed.
