DECRECH Ignition Coil Cassette UF577 for Saab 9-3 (03-00), Saab 9-5 (09-99)

In the beginning, I thought I had found a new supplier for parts for my aging Saab. I was sadly mistaken. The part arrived on time and seemed to be exactly what I needed. Installed it and all was well. The problem came when it failed after only 7 months in the car. No worries, I thought, since the seller lists this product with a 24 month warranty. I emailed the seller DECRECH on 11/6/19 and patiently waited the 2 business days for a reply. No reply, so I emailed again on 11/9/19 and as of today 11/15/19, still no reply. In the meantime, I am out the money that I had to spend to diagnose the problem (since I could not believe this one failed in such a short time) and the money to buy another one from another seller.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I was a bit uncertain about purchasing such a specific part for my car from Amazon, but everything went perfectly. The part fit exactly as it should. I also appreciated how peripheral items were suggested to me at the time of purchase, for example the dielectric grease and the spark plugs. This saved me time searching and overall saved me about four hundred dollars over the mechanics price to make the same repair. Good job Amazon.

It worked great for a bit, then like i read it caused issues with my radiator! do yourself a favor and go OEM the saab has a complex firing system and a non-OEM doesn't take this into consideration and it will cause issues with your Saab! save yourself the headache of having to replace the radiator!

I hesitate to give it 5 stars only because it takes time to determine how long it will last. Several other non OEM DICs eventually had issues with the potted portion around each coil pack cracking from expansion over time. The description provided gave me comfort to try iittime will tell

Worked great for about 3 days. Then faulted out... Guess i should have gone with a factory replacement. It throws codes for a misfire within 10 miles. Cleared codes and bam misfire codes again..

Works as it should. Fuel mileage actually went up after installing. 2 weeks in & very happy with it

Had intermittent p1301 Code and rough running, replaced the DICassete and runs smooth now. Non-Saab seems to work fine.

This fit the car very well. Work actactly as it said it would.
