burned out immediately upon switching it on for the first time
Greetings, I am writing to inform you that the motor of my Nostalgia Electric Ice Cream Maker burned out immediately upon switching it on for the first time. Upon reviewing the specifications, I noticed the appliance is designed for 120V, whereas the standard voltage in my region is 230V. This may have caused the malfunction. I would appreciate your support in arranging a replacement that is compatible with 230V. If that is not possible, I kindly request a full refund. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. overall, this is exactly as i'd expect for an 'old fashioned' ice cream machine. works just as advertised. I noticed that there are 2 sizes (4qt and 6qt). I opted for the 6qt as i could always just make 4qt and have plenty of room for expansion (and to ensure the salt doesn't invade my ice cream). Well, it works as intended, but i really do wish i'd have just gotten the 4qt, but that's more on me than the design of this. The only complaint i have is that the gearing, paddle, and all are plastic and i'm not sure of the longevity that will have, but the unit worked great on its first mission.

Works great, even seems to be a little quieter than our older model was. The only negative is that the ice cream tank seems to be a lot thinner than the older model and seems like it could easily bend or puncture. Its been used a handful of times with no issues at all.

It’s great 👍🏾 easy to use . I would highly recommend it, especially if you love ice cream and tired of store bought ice cream. It’s so easy to use.
