Wind Powered Automatic Chain Oiler- Universal Kit

Very easy to install if you are comfortable with removing panels or pieces from your motorcycle. Where it didn't do well was the actual lubing of the chain. It mostly made the underseat area get flooded with oil either through the peep hole/bleeder for the oil return or due to the swelling of the line that is held by a barb fitting. For the first week I had problems because it was not dispensing any oil. For oil I used new 10w40 so the viscosity should not have been an issue. A line re route fixed that but periodic chain checks showed no signs of much lubing. Volume of lubing is not adjustable on this unit. Saw oil in the air inlet line as well and cleaned and checked again some days later and found that it happened again. Perhaps a defective unit. I had this installed for 2 months and saw no reason to continue use. For reference I ride 90% highway, 5 days a week with 40 miles round trip for the commute.

I have had mine 4 years +, works fantastic. I ride a lot of miles and used to replace my chain and countershaft sprocket annually, rear sprocket every other year... I now replace half as often.... Easy to install, does what it is supposed to... New bike is on the horizon and this will be one of the first things I install.

I've use all sorts of chain oilers over my 25 years riding and this is by far the best chain oiler on the market. Not needing to bleed the system if you forget to add oil, (unlike a very well known competitors version) is great. By being able to use whatever oil you like, is also great. I just adjust the viscosity depending on the temperature. Chainsaw blade oil, mixed with engine oil works superb. My chain is also kept much cleaner with the Motobriiz system. The reservoir sits nicely under the rear pillion seat and the water trap hides away in the lefthand front cowling. The only way to better this device would be a flow rate control on the reservoir, so I didn't need to change the mixture of oils. But this is a small quibble with a great bit of kit! Well done to the whole Motbriiz team.

Very simple to fit but can't tell if it is working as not much oil is supposed to go to felt pad may leave more later if any thing seems to be happening

I haven't had a chance to fix to bike but it looks straight forward time will tell as they say
