My other cookie scoop broke so I bought this as a replacement. The quality is much better than my old scooper. Very sturdy and well made

It's easy on your hand even with stiffer cookie dough, and releases the dough easily. Maybe too easily because it did shoot out the dough sometimes. It seems very well made. I hand washed it before the first use, but it did leave 3 or 4 tiny black spots on my dough. That happened only on the first use.

Size is great and easy to use. However it doesn’t handle well when the dough isn’t really soft. The little lever that helps to scoop out the dough gets stuck and makes dough not come out as it should. I’ve bought other brands that worked much better in the same dough.
