I really like this yerba mate tea. It tastes smooth and mild, not bitter like some other brands, and it gives me a nice boost of energy without making me jittery. The only thing is the grassy flavor might take some getting used to if you’ve never tried yerba mate before, but overall it’s a healthy and energizing tea.

I’m not sure what can really be said here. It’s a decent mate tea. The flavor is fine. (I do not think that Yerba mate is known for its flavor.) it works as advertised — a nice source of caffeine that doesn’t last as long in your body so you can sip slowly from it all day without messing with your sleep at night. I am really happy with it. And having it in the tea bags is convenient. The size of the tea bags seems standard. I’m not sure I could tell you about the freshness of the leaves but there are no off flavors, and this tastes as good as anny other Yerba mate else that I’ve tried. It tastes fine both hot and cold. (Which is good, because as I said, I sip from it over the course of at least a couple hours.’)I’m not sure if this matters to anyone but the teabag itself doesn’t feel like it’s compostable. It feels kind of plastic. For me, I wait until the bag dries and then toss the leaves into the compostable bin and throw the tea bag itself into the trash. The bag also doesn’t have a string to retrieve it easily from the mug. But. That matters less if you’re just leaving the bag in the drinking vessel for hours on end.

This tea is fantastic. The tea bags are typical bags but they have a good seal along all sides. It is a caffeine-free tea and tastes wonderful. I like that I can enjoy this tea without getting a caffeine hit (and later a caffeine drag). I use an electronic kettle to heat my water to 99deg, then I pour it onto this tea and let it steep for a few minutes.
