Great grip, good fit
I like the color, easy to differentiate from others around. Spikes are nice and thick, no worries about them bending. Great grip on icy surfaces. Good deal for what they are. Not very conspicuous, but you shouldn't expect them to be.

Work well on a variety of terrain conditions
I live in a suburban area and do a lot of trail running, but have to connect to the trails on sidewalk and road. I purchased these to be able to continue to get some trail time in in spite of a fair amount of snow. I've now used these twice, but on a variety of terrain. I can say that they have decent grip in soft snow, well packed snow, slushy snow. The deepest areas I've used these on is about 4inches and they do very well. I've had a couple of small slides on the slushier stuff, but stop after a couple inches and haven't fallen. I've also had to cross over some bare sidewalk and streets and the metal spikes have not broken off (I'm about 140lb, not sure if they'd be as durable for a heavier person.) These are easy to put on with the back clearly labeled. The rubber uppers are thick, yet stretchy, and haven't come anywhere near breaking. The velcro strap across the top helps keep these secure. They also come with a carrying pouch. I've noticed a little bit of clumping of ice in the spikes, but it does not appear to have detracted from the grip. When you are done and remove them, just clap them together to get the debris off. I purchased these to wear with a US women's size 10.5 trail running shoe and the large fits perfectly.

Heavy duty shoe or boot ice cleats
I will start out with a 5 star review. I haven't really used them yet. I have to admit they are over kill for what I might use them for. I walk my dog every morning for over an hour on city sidewalks and a paved bike path. We got a good freezing rain and the walk paths were a sheet of glare ice. Impossible to walk on it so I ended up walking on the side/grassy area. So I researched and bought these. I got them in 2 days but by then the ice was gone and I could walk on the snow. I did put them on my shoes but wouldn't want to walk on plain cement with them. But I have no doubt they would be great on glare ice. I will update if I have issues.UPDATE: 1/15/18...I finally got a chance to use them on a solid sheet of freezing rain. Everything was a solid sheet of ice. It was impossible to walk without slipping into g and sliding. Perfect to try them out. I walked my dog for over an hour and she was slipping all over when she walked on the cement. I was able to walk perfectly with no chance of slipping. The cleats worked great with no slipping from side to side. When done with the walk in looked them over and couldn't even tell they were used. Great product at a great price.

Sturdy, stabilizing snow spikes save slips; sadly small sack
I've hiked for a few miles in the snow-covered forest and on partially covered roads with these. Overall, I like them a lot. They provide the traction I was looking for and let me walk comfortably without wondering if I'm going to slip. The spikes have a good gauge to them that I won't bend or wear anytime soon. The nylon strap that is shown to go over the top of the shoe seems useless and I haven't used them. They're much easier to put on and take off without them and they stay in place well enough. My only complaint is that the bag that shipped with them seems like it was made for the small size. The XL version I have doesn't fit well and certainly won't cinch with the draw string. It's a minor annoyance and I'm only taking one star off to make them aware of it in hopes they'll make a change for future customers. One note about putting them on - If your shoes have a heel with a lot of traction features already (non-flat), you'll need to get used to putting them on and watching to make sure they don't get caught and misaligned with the foot. This is due to the chain link design. It still works well, just be advised that they don't just slip on to these types of shoes.

Excellent
I walk everyday here in northern ohio, the sidewalks here are extremely icy this time of year. I was using the yaktrax they were ok but I did slip a little with them and did not feel secure. Now when I first received these they looked extremely aggressive, not something you would wear in the house for sure. I installed these on my size 15 shoe and used them today on my 45 min walk around my neighborhood, yesterday I walked in the street some cuz I worried about falling, today with these on I walked the sidewalks on the ice and did not slip once, I even tried to slide, not happening with these, yes they make a little noise but not bad on clear pavement. I’m extremely satisfied with this product.

Very Functional at a Reasonable Price!
Out of the box, they appear to be descent quality. The rubber seems durable and is pliable enough to be easily slipped on and off. I wear size 14 hiking boots and purchased the XL size. I believe I noticed a comment or two in the reviews about them being small and difficult to get on. I had no such difficulties. I found them quite easy to get on and off and in fact if anything they could have been a bit more snug (but were not so big as to slip off unexpectedly). The Cleats (18 on each foot) themselves are quite sturdy and 1/2 inch long. Plenty of bite when negotiating more than just occasional patches of ice on terrain with minimal snow.So far, I have used these twice and I am VERY pleased. Once on a short 2.5 mile jaunt and once during an 8 mile hike while in steeper terrain near the confluence of a few mountain streams. Both times, I was walking on snow covered ground (approx 3 inches of wet, from warming temps, snow). Snow in that condition is just about as slick as it gets, unless your on pure ice. Both times the Cleats aided immeasurably! The folks with me who had no added traction devices had a very difficult time while on any incline. Those with Yak Track type devices did slightly better but still had difficulties. I had none!As I alluded to in the first paragraph, these would not be my first choice for frozen, but mostly barren ground. Stick to the Yak Tracks or Micro Spikes for that (not that these wouldn't work). But when something a bit more aggressive is needed, I would most certainly recommend these! NOTE: If your looking for American Made, these are not it.
