The X2 transponder is the latest generation of MyLaps race proven transponders. The X2 transponder offers two-way communication between the scoring system and the vehicle. This transponder is backwards compatible with all MyLaps decoder boxes. This transponder comes with a 1-year subscription. Your transponder is covered by a full factory warranty for the duration of the subscription. If you prefer to power this transponder from your vehicles battery, choose the X2 transponder with direct power option (MLP-10R611). NOTE: This transponder will ONLY work in Car & Motorcycle applications, or where your race director has specifically stated that they use Car/Motorcycle transponders.

Needs to be charged the day before race weekend.
Easy to set up and use. Just note the battery will die in 4 days whether you use it or not, so make sure to charge it on the day before your race weekend, I found out the hard way but we were able to plug into the USB port in the trunk and charge it on the way to the track.

if you race the transponder people have you over a barrel
having to get and maintain subscriptions for these devices is a total rip off, but you have no choice if you wish to race cars
