Short Sleeve Bolero Shrug Cardigan

This shrug was perfect to make my formal gown modest! The ruched sleeves and nice jersey-like material gave it a dressy look, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I normally wear a size small in shirts such as: petite's, unisex, ect. However, so that a tshirt doesn't cling to me I buy size medium for fitted tshirts. Other buyer's kept mentioning to order this shrug a size up from your regular tshirt size..Being the shrug is fitted, I was torn as whether to order a size up from my size in petite and unisex tshirts, or to order a size up from what I wear in fitted tshirts. I ended up ordering this bolero two sizes up from my usual size in unisex and petite shirts, which is one size up from my size in fitted tshirts. Size large in this product fits like a small, so I'm very glad I did! It was a perfect fit.My shoulders are 17 inches across, I am 5" 5.5' and weigh approx. 130 lbs. Keep in mind that this bolero runs in junior sizing! It is a beautiful and comfortable cover-up option. I highly recommend it

Overall, I like the Bolero - but the other reviews were very accurate in stating that the sizing runs small. I typically wear a small - but followed the other reviewers and ordered a medium. It does fit - but not with any room to spare. I am considering ordering another color and may even order a large on the next one.

This cardigan runs very small. I'm 5'2" and weigh 122 pounds. I usually wear a small and despite the other reviews I ordered a small. I still wore the cardigan but it barely covered my armpits, so it doesn't look to bad but if you want more coverage I would at least order two sizes bigger. But the color and quality were good for the price.

It sure is cute if it fits! I had originally ordered the medium but returned for the large which is what I should have ordered in the first place. However, even the large was not big enough. I am a 38 and the chart says 38.5 for a large. Maybe a extra large would work if this came in that size.

I am returning because the red color wasn't the red I needed it to be (turned out to be more orangey-red, like tomato-red or Lego bricks; and I was after a true "jewel-tone" red that would be more versatile with my wardrobe). This color didn't look right on a blonde fair-skinned person like me! I ordered large (I wear size 32B bra) and the fit was good enough to have kept it but still a little snug if anything at the sleeve openings. For my petite size, I don't have the skinniest arms, though! So I would say order at least 2 sizes up from your usual size.

I ordered this shrug to go over a strapless dress -- it looks great! I did read other reviews before buying it and I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and it fits perfect! So if you're considering buying this you'll want to order one size up from your normal size. The material is very soft and is like a t-shirt material. It's not too casual to wear with dressy dresses (at least the black one isn't). Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Very soft and simple shrug/bolero. It'll go perfectly with my strapless summer dress. It's not a super heavy material either so it'll be great for a warmer day, but just enough to make sure your shoulders don't get to chilly in the A/C.I am normally a small in most things especially any sort of shirt or sweater, due to my petite frame and shoulders. However after reading reviews I decided to order a medium since I have a little more in the bust (C cup). I am glad I did because the medium fits perfectly! I will be sure to keep it from the dryer as it'll be much too small if there's any shrinking. So make sure you order a size up! That's the only reason it wasn't 5 stars. It's definitely more of a junior sizing.

I was worried it might be too small after reading some of the previous reviews. However I stuck with my instinct and ordered the small and glad I did. It fit my shoulder's perfectly. I think the medium would have been to large for me. But then I am very slender. Went perfectly with my retro dress ! Plan to use it all year round.
