OK, I would give this 0 stars, or negative stars, if possible. It tastes like motor oil. No, I've never had motor oil before, but it reminds me of what it would taste like. My brain was screaming "poison, spit it out", so I did! I had just finished my 8 ounce bag of Just Jaivik brand's Gotu Kola, which I wouldn't describe as " super tasty", but it was passable. I would have bought more of the Just Jaivik brand, but it isn't available anymore, so went searching for another brand. This one appeared to have decent reviews, and an appealing price, but this stuff is just plain awful. I want to return it, but this product does not have a return policy, my bad, I should have checked that before I purchased!While looking for another replacement for this, I found that the Just Jaivik brand is available on Amazon again, YAY! I bought it. SO much better!

In Dr. Dale Bredesen's book--"The End of Alzheimer's" this is a recommended supplement. It is also recommended by other brain doctors I follow as a very important supplement. I have one gene for Alzheimer's so I want to be very proactive in my diet. Does it work? Only time will tell but I believe I have seen a difference since taking this and other supplements that are recommended. I just wish they would include the grams in the dosage--then it might get 5 stars.

This product shows excellent signs of quality, including a label-printed expiration date, a nice aroma and consistency of the powder, nice product sealing elements, and labeling the country of origin (India). I hesitate to give five stars simply because of the lack of individual batch testing for things like heavy metals. Well worth the value.

This product works for cognitive strengthening. I take it in the evening just before bed as a hot tea because it immediately relaxes me however I do not take too much, no more than a 16th to a quarter of a teaspoon because I have noticed headaches in the morning or if I am already wired it can wake me back up in a matter of hours. However if I do wake up my brain is ON and I can work and create with abandon and in a good mood and go back to sleep. I am now in a regular sleep schedule season and I take a pinch at night as a tea and wake up feeling 'together'. I have a myriad of health concerns and even if I may get my energy together my brain won't connect the dots. I usually take this with bacopa and he shou wu and notice a sort of strengthening and clarity and mood boost that is awesome. Right now I keep it simple with gotu kola :)

The flavor of Gotu kola is bitter and sweet this has no undertones of this flavor I've tasted Gotu Kola and this taste like dirt and yes I've tasted dirt I played in it as a child this is disgusting once you rip it open it smells like lawn dirt . I do not recommend this product and wish I would've tasted it sooner so I could send it back. Herbalist research the herbs you buy test it as soon as you get it and if you smell it and it doesn't sit right with you don't drink it a small taste will do. Send it back and write a review.

It has lifted my spirits I have laughed more in the past two day than in a while And the part of it for Collagen works wonders too because I take a Collagen supplement for my joint and skin and I don't hurt like I have been for a long time and for my skin my crappiness inside my arms has gone in two days I not big or dehydrated so not sure why I even had crappy skin but it looks great now can't wait to see what the future holds My legs looks great too My skin looks great I should say because I have naturally dry skin

I add this every day to my smoothies with collagen because it's supposed to help you absorb collagen. I definitely get a break from my joints and feel better running when I have this in my diet. It has a pleasant smell, kind of like tea, and it's hardly noticeable in my berry-greens smoothie.

I purchased this for use with guggul and arjuna for blood support. Interesting that it relieved the joint pain in my knee and shoulder. I mix 1/2 tsp with my juice twice a day. My wife now takes the same amount as a tea once a day for digestive issues and now swears by it.
