Review update....April 2019....##### I really have to come back on here and update my original five star review....unfortunately,I have to drop my rating. Significantly.I don’t know exactly what happened with this product, but halfway through my use of the tube, I started to experience what some other reviewers were mentioning in their reviews. Namely, about the scratchy, “sand-like”feeling/consistency of the product. I don’t know if the product just changes or settles in the tube during use over time or what, but the product DID change.It absolutely did not feel like that when I first bought it, and curiously, it’s not past it’s shelf life expiration, so I’m not exactly sure what’s going on. Lately whenever I use it, ( last 4-5 times), it def does have a sand-like consistency on my face..it almost feels like I am applying a very light scrub on my face as I apply it.....it’s so bizarre!!!!Plus, my makeup balls up and pills like crazy over it now. Don’t worry- I know how to lightly layer product. I’m an Esthetician. This should not be happening. I think I’ll reach out to the seller, as this is just an absolute fail for the price, and they need to know.( original review)—I love that this product has a very high zinc content and is also silicone free. When a high zinc sunscreen has too much silicone in it,(and most do) I always feel greasy,and I hate the feeling of too many layers of product - you know that feeling? It’s that feeling that the product never “dries down.” This absolutely does dry down and FAST -so blend quick!But even though it dries fast, it left my skin very soft feeling, not greasy at all. Very oily skin girls will go nuts over this. For me, I’m not as oily as I was in my younger days. But I feel like overly shiny sunscreens don’t look nice on over 40 skin, and this looks great under makeup- could even take the place of a primer IMO. When I apply this and then apply my foundation. I still have that matte feel. In fact, I don’t even use face powder over my base when I use this. Don’t need it.It’s that matte! (But not in an overly dry way.) The only other thing I can think of to say is that someone with dry to very dry skin might not like this, as they will probably needMore moisture. Can’t wait to use this on hot humid days in the summer when I’m sure I’ll appreciate this non greasy sunscreen and it’stexture even more. The rose tint was barely detectable. Just lovely. My new go to. I’d put this in my beloved Japanese sunscreen catagory- it’s thats good!

I wanted to love this product since it is a pale, moisturizing sunscreen with a rosey glow but it had a gritty texture which I just couldn't live with.

I wanted to love this product. I loved the rose color tint. I am very fair and this color was a great match. Unfortunately, it didn’t blend well at all. Also, the large chunks of sandlike pieces were Uncomfortable to rub in. I had to return.

A bit grainy, no white cast, no oily, absorb fast. I didn't test on a long sunny day but so far I like it.

Goes on really smooth, no streaking, and blends in nicely. No singing when I sweat. Great product!

Lotion feels grainy like a scrub although product is well within expiry period (06/2020).

I really needed a high spf sunscreen for everyday use in SoCal, Ava Isa Aurora Rose is terrific, LOVE this product. the slight rosy fair tint, perfect for redheads. Not shiny or greasy, but a soft matte finish. The new formulation is very smooth but you need to shake well prior to application. I don’t need BB cream or foundation on top. Very high quality sunscreen
