Fun game
We bought this for our son who really likes this game. I sat down and played it with him. It's actually a lot of fun and a great way to spend time as a family.

Smaller than the original.
Seller is fine and transaction went smoothly. Was disappointed because I was looking for the original size game. This is a mini sized game. About half the size of the original. I am going to keep it and use it for travel.

Cheap fun games!
This is a fun game for your kids who like chess, but also like to change it up. I’m leaving a 3 star review, because unfortunately, the inner board is made of cheap plastic. So that’s not so great but the game and the idea are fantastic. It’s fun to play, and they love it..so I love it! -Homeschool Mom

Love this SUMO marbles game.
Imagine checkers and chess while pushing your opponent of the table.

Disappointing Quality and Gameplay
Poor quality and not comparable to the real game. The marbles are extremely lightweight and too small, which makes it difficult to properly play Abalone as intended. Overall, it feels cheap and does not function like an authentic version of the game.

Poor ball quality makes frustrating play
Buy the real version of Abalone. This one has inconsistent ball size/shape that make it so you can't push rows of balls from the back one without some rolling off to the side. I liked the small size (this the 2 stars), but it was too frustrating to play, so I returned it.

TRAVEL SIZED
TRAVEL SIZED. Abalone is one of the all-time great games. This version is half the size of the original, with 1/2" marbles where the original had 1" marbles. Same game, but little. So you know.

Full size one has a better movement feel. This one also sounds 'tinny' and far cheaper than the large version. Handy as a travel version.
