Exactly as described unused this mixed with methanol to make pink fire and It did just that.

I really appreciated that this strontium chloride was such good quality. I bought it for a homeschool chemistry project to make red flame and it produced a beautiful red flame! Strontium chloride can be hard to come by sometimes, so I appreciated that it shipped quickly and, although it was a little pricey (for me at least), it was worth it because the quality was so good. It was nothing like the prepackaged flame kits that barely make any color. If you are looking to do a similar project, just forego all the fun little colorful packages, do your homework, and get the real deal - it was so worth it!

Ordered this to make colored fireplace pine cones. Seemed rather expensive, but ordered it anyway. The aggravation is that, right out of the box the bottle was barely 1/2 full - damned expensive for 1/2 bottle. Can't yet say how it works for my intended use, as I am still dealing with the 1/2 bottle. Won't go very far, at this rate.

worked as expected

Husband used this to create a red flame for some churchy thing. I'm an atheist so I'm not into that whole weirdness but he said it worked great... burned red for half an hour. No evidence of anything supernatural but then there never is so it's all good. Took a bit of experimenting to get the right ratio of this to the mineral spirits (ain't science great?) but they eventually worked it out.

This came as expected. It is a course powdered strontium chloride. I did not weigh it for accuracy. Has good reaction to flame test, brilliant red flame, which was the purpose of purchase.

I wanted this for flame coloration but it was not as effective as I’d hoped. Guess I’ll have to use more and that nitrate salt might’ve been better.
