In terms of it's 'quality and durability', one of the connection segments on one of the legs has come apart. I still use it by manually popping it back in everytime I set it up, but it's worth noting that with lots of use, the quality of this tripod may suffer. It's an affordable option but not lasting or of the greatest quality so just be aware.---I’ve never had a tripod before so I can’t attest to it’s quality compared to others out there but what I can say is that this one works great for me. It’s \easy to use and extends to all kinds of various heights. The Bluetooth clicker immediately paired with my phone as soon as I turned it on (battery was already included) and was easy to use/understand. The tripod stands steadily and has a level on the ‘phone attachement’. The attachment also holds my iPhone XR securely and comfortably and have no concerns for it falling or dropping.I ordered the tripod because I take most of our family photos with my iPhone (the phone cameras have improved dramatically over the years so I have saved a lot of money by taking photos myself rather than paying for an expensive family photographer). I usually have to have a friend or family member take our photos and sometimes this is difficult to schedule so I ordered the tripod so that I wouldn’t have to rely on someone else to ‘hold the camera’.I am happy with it!

In the old days, I used my HD camcorder to do product videos -- that is, until the iPhone camera became as sophisticated as it has become today.In fact, I would bet most people have ditched camcorders for their phones. And when you need to keep your videos steady or hands-free, a tripod like this really comes in handy.I really didn't want to spend much money. This is not a product I am going to use outside the home so it's not something I was expecting to abuse. I wanted a tripod for my iPhone XS Max that was cheap but workable. This tripod fit the bill beautifully.The tripod comes in cheaply made carrying bag. However, the tripod itself seems pretty decent for the price. It's made of aluminum and is adjustable in height of 50 inches. It weighs just over a pound so it's really lightweight.With the tripod, you get a bracket that allows you to mount your phone in either portrait or landscape mode. This is due to the expanding "jaws" of the bracket itself. The process of mounting and holding your phone in the bracket seems delicate enough that it shouldn't scratch the sides of your expensive device.You also get a shutter remote that pairs via Bluetooth to your phone. It allows you to snap pictures or start/stop a video remotely. The battery is included in the shutter remote.What is also really great about this tripod is that it has a bubble level meter that tells you that your phone is level so that your video or photos don't look crooked.I have to say, for the price, this is an extraordinary find. It's simple, but packed with features and constructed well enough that you should get many continued uses out of it.Highly recommended!

I ordered the gold tripod, so far it works as intended but the phone clamp mount isn't the greatest, i might replace it with a different clamp as this is very tight on my phone, doubt it would fit larger phones like a note 9 but it fits my mi mix2s just barely (6in screen). I am a bit worried the clamp will break as it is just slightly to small for my phone but works for now. A clamp that adjusts centimeter or 2 wider for larger phones would be a good improvement.2 of the leg locks are already broken/falling apart after 3 uses. I have been exceedingly careful in handling it so this is just extremely poor quality, do not buy. The plastic leg locks are made of a very brittle plastic apparently.Also the color does not look very gold to me, not as nice as the pictures but its ok- not a deal-breaker.EDIT: seller contacted me and sent a free replacement that is more gold colored and seems to be put together better, product is still somewhat questionable but bumping up review to 3 stars for good customer service.

I recently saw some so so reviews about this product and the remote. I didn't take full note of them (had a gift card lolz), AND THANK GOODNESS, this product is lightweight for travel, made with more or less durable aluminum, and the remote works 13 feet away (dorm room length). Another cool feature is it works as a darn good selfie stick as well by folding the legs in. The only flaw of this product is it had a little dent in one of the legs, but other than that, I am very pleased with this product.

One of the legs of the item broke. Currently contacting Amazon’s customer service. And was provided a full refund. Screw this company and their crap ass product. 😒 The product is lightweight and easy to use however it broke within the first month of me owning it. So, I will not be purchasing this product.Update:Customer service contacted me about 3-4 days ago apologizing for their product. Sent me out a free product even after I got a refund and bought the item from another company. Amazing customer service experience.

Update:I received my replacement tripod. It seems to do the job well!.The company reached out to me immediately and is working to replace my tripod. I have been pleased with the great customer service and will update upon actually receiving the replacement item..I bought this at the end of December and have only used it around 10 times. Within that time one of the extending legs broke, and today the adapter on the tripod snapped off. Very disappointed.

I ordered this tripod to start my youtube channel. Before I was able to use it, the knob to adjust and tighten the angle fell off, wasn't sure how to order the simple piece so I had to order a whole new one. It is expensive looking, easy to figure out and set up. The wireless remote was a plus. definitely a bang for your buck! Totally a must-have!
